In August I purchased a car from this dealership.  If I had it to do over again, I would have kept looking and purchased one from somewhere else.  I didn't like the salesperson and they were quite pushy, but I did like the car, so I went for it.  BIG MISTAKE!

In my finance agreement they added to my loan both my city and state sales tax.  I have the receipt to prove this.  Then through a mistake on THEIR end, my city sales tax was mailed to the incorrect location.  With my plates needing to be purchased by Oct 11, I notified them in the middle of September of this error.  They did nothing!  After repeated phone call after repeated phone call, Oct 11 came and the error was still not corrected.  When I called again, I spoke to the owner/manager who informed me (very rudely) that he wasn't paying my sales tax.  He eventually hung up on me.

I then was able to get a temporary tag for my car (that I had to pay for) while we settled this issue.  That pushed the date for getting my license plates to Nov 10.  The clerk's office has already informed me that they can't get me another temporary tag if this isn't resolved by Nov. 10.  I will just begin receiving fines.  Well, as of Nov 3. they still haven't resolved this issue, and they still have my money (somewhere?)My last phone call was taken by someone in the finance department who (again very rudely) informed me that they would notify me when they had my money.  Personally, I think they stole it, and I caught them, so now they are dragging their heals.

I already have a call into the State Attorney General's Office to help correct this issue.
