Grant Funding Search After ordering an informational cd for $1.98 I was charged $69.95 on my credit card that I did NOT authorize! Henderson Nevada

I own a small business with my husband and during this economic nightmare was looking for a possible helping hand. Well, Grant Funding Search was NOT the help I was looking for. I found their website through a google search for small business grants. The website offered a cd with informational links to thousands of grant possibilities. The cost of the cd was $1.98. No where on this site was anything printed about an additional charge.

I recieved my cd in the mail and a phone call came to our home phone from this company but we were not home and they simply left a message that they had called.

When I received my credit card statement there was an additional charge for $69.95. When I called and said that I did not authorize any additional charges for any additional services she informed me that by ordering the cd that I had seven days to cancel or be charged the $69.95 EVERY MONTH thereafter until I did cancel. I argued with her that I had never accepted any such terms and did not read any such terms on the website. She assured me I did!

I asked for the web site because I was unable to pull it up again with the same google search. The website she gave me, gfs.grantfundingsearch.net was NOT the website I ordered my cd from. This website and it written in small print at the bottom that you would be charged $69.95 after a 7 day trial if not canceled. I repeat however, this is NOT the website I was taken to on my google search, and still have not been able to find it.

I argued with her for several minutes and asked to speak to a supervisor, who was conveniently busy but would call me back. I am still waiting for my call back.

DO NOT get involved with any of these so called grant search guides....they all appear to be a SCAM!
