We spent almost two hours listening to the Great Escapes Pitch. The hook was nearly free airfare, free pizza, coke and Blockbuster movie and $100 in gas coupons. What they didn't tell you is that to redeem these "gifts" you need to be a lawyer to figure out the requirements. We lost the $100 in gas coupons because of the fine print, the pizza and coke required original receipts. The language read an itemized list. Well the receipts had " 1 pizza - price; 1-2 litr coke - price; my idea of an itemized list. The Blockbuster receipt said 1 - "movie title" - price. Excuse me but do not the receipts an itemized list? Apparently not.

We spent over $30 on something we would never have done only to be hosed on the definition of itemized list. The airfare is a ridiculous exercise...I would almost rather go on the internet and pay full price! If you are going for the hook...do not waste your time. If you are going for a cheaper vacation package...think twice.
