I find that it is necessary, as a former employee of this location to WARN the public about what they can expect in return for their thousands of $'s they will be pressured into spending on their "Quest" to find the love of their life. While other Great Expectation offices are successful in helping their clients truely find a life partner, this location doesn't have the membership base or professionalism to deliver the same results.

This business was purchased by Yole Vincent-Cornelson in April 2008 from Mitchell Brandt. I worked there late in the year and within a couple of days, began to wonder what I had gotten myself into! I was sent to Stuart, FL to train on the sales end for two days. I will say that this office is very professionally run and delivers a top notch service. I had not seen the office in Bonita Springs until after my two days of training. The Bonita office was a disaster! It is located by the Tax Collectors office and the inside of it looks like a warehouse.....cheap grade carpet, stark white walls and cheap office furniture. I was horrified. Within a few weeks, I discovered that in the short time this office had been under the new owner, there were quite a few sales reps prior to me who had quit due to payroll issues and the inability to deliver the top notch service as they had indicated to new members. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that this place is a joke, as is the owner who obviously does not understand how to run and manage a professional business.

Out of curiosity, I scanned the database of members for this location and found that there were about 30 "active" members, and alot of profiles that were inactive, or expired. There are many members that were listed as Active in order to make the selection look much better than it really is. The photography is done "in the office" as well as the videos. Basically, you are interviewed for 2 hours to find out what your past relationships have been like, why they failed, what happened to cause your divorce, etc, as a way to get you into an emotional place so that you can be sold on the fact that "GE" has many upscale, financially secure, professional members; when infact, they do not! The events that are suposed to bring the "members" together are few and far in between. Additionally, there are very few people that even attend because there are "very few members" and always an "out of pocket cost" to attend.

This owner of this location is interested in one thing only....YOUR MONEY! Do not take the sales pitch at face value. The sales representatives are paid a low wage and rely on the closing of the sale in order to make money. Often times, the potential member that comes in to find out about the service is not someone that you would consider "upscale" by any means. Most are living on a shoe string, not financially stable, disabled, living on a fixed income or have financial issues that are ongoing. A criminal background is not done until AFTER a member pays the $1000-$5700 membership fee and a credit check is not done AT ALL. How can a company determine if someone is "financially stable" if this is not done? What are members really paying for?? A online database of pictures and profiles written by the members themselves?? Thats about all you really get! If this is what you want to date, then by all means, sign up tomorrow! Do yourself a favor before being pressured into signing on the dotted line and spending $thousands$ on membership....ask some pointed questions...

How many ACTIVE members does THIS OFFICE have? How often do you have Member Events and whats the cost to attend?
How many members have ACTUALLY found their mates IN THIS OFFICE Who owns it and how long have they owned it?
What is the Sales Representatives background? How long have they been there? How many NEW members join each month, on average?

Please note that you will not be allowed to "see" the database of members until after you sign up, submit your written profile, have your photo's and video done in their office and everything is uploaded to the system. This generally takes most new members 10-21 days depending on the schedule. YOU ONLY HAVE 3 DAYS TO CANCEL FROM THE DATE YOU SIGN UP...and it must be done in writing and delivered by certified mail! If you go beyond that, you are out of alot of money and once you finally have access to the database of potential love matches, you will be extremly disappointed! I am very disappointed in my participation with this office. I truely believed that it had the potential to deliver and I am sorry to say that the end result is that it can not.

Knowing what I know now, I would have to say that you would have a better opportunity to meet "Mr or Ms Right" using an online service that you can cancel at anytime. Currently, another "sales rep" has recently been hired and I encourage you to ask questions and then take the time to think about what you're really investing in. GE in Bonita Springs just doesnt have the professionalism or membership base to deliver the Great Expectations that you may be searching for.

BONITA SPRINGS, FL. - THERE'S NOTHING GREAT ABOUT GREAT EXPECTATIONS! - BEWARE!!!!!!

AUTHOR: Just Watching Out For You - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, February 12, 2009

I also worked at the same office as Bonnie Letch. When I read the disgusting, untrue things written about Bonnie Letch, I felt I needed to speak up and defend her reputation. Ms. Letch is an extremely bright and professional woman and was deceived as I was into working for a terribly run company. All the attacking things that were said about her are untrue and I hope she sues the pants off the company. I am glad to have met Ms. Letch and consider her a good friend.

Great Expectations in Bonita Springs, FL. is a joke and I regret working there. The owner is an absentee owner that doesn't pay their employees on time and when she does it is wrong, or I have been told paychecks have bounced. I just received my last paycheck and it was short $100.

There isn't as many members as the salespeople say there is signed up and they haven't had any events at all. The office has been finally painted but it still looks like a warehouse. The salespeople that work there don't care about your love life and helping you they only care about making the sale and getting the commission, I know because that is what we were taught.

The different packages are extremely expensive and not worth it at all. In this bad economy there are still people that want to prey on people and scam them and that is what I have done, I wish I knew what this company was like before I got involved.

If you are thinking about becoming a member or employee of this company save your money and time and run the other way. I wish someone would have told me that, employees are always leaving that company because of the way it is being run.

Naples, FL.

THESE MATCHING SERVICES ARE ALL TOO EXPENSIVE

AUTHOR: Joe - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Sunday, February 01, 2009

THE BEST WAY TO FIND SOMEONE IS WHEN YOU LEAST EXPECT AND ASK YOUR FRIENDS AND FAMILY MEMBERS WHO KNOW YOU BEST IF THEY KNOW SOMEBODY AND GO WHERE THE KIND OF PERSON YOU WOULD LIKE TO MEET HANGS OUT.

PAYING SOMEONE TO FIND SOMEONE FOR YOU RATHER PUTS THEM UNDER THE GUN AND WHO KNOWS WHAT THEY MIGHT DREDGE UP FOR YOU, PROBABLY SOME LOSER OR EVEN A CHARMING, HANDSOME ...SERIAL KILLER...

I AM NOT TALKING ABOUT GREAT EXPECTATIONS, JUST WHAT I HAPPENED TO SEE ON THE VARIOUS INTERNET DATING SITES AND WHAT I HAVE READ HERE AND HEARING FROM MY FAMILY MEMBERS WHO HAVE ACTUALLY TRIED SOME OF THESE TACTICS AND I ENDED UP MATCHING THEM UP WITH GOOD GUYS THEY MARRIED AND HAD KIDS.
THEY ARE ALL STILL MARRIED -- SO FAR.

WHAT THE ORIGINAL POSTER SAID ABOUT THAT PARTICULAR OFFICE OF GREAT EXPECTATIONS APPLIED EQUALLY TO ALL OF THE DATING SERVICES I EVER READ, HEARD ABOUT AND DISCUSSED.

NOBODY IN MY FAMILY HAS TRIED THEM BUT AFTER TRYING ALL THE REST, I THINK THEY WERE SOMEWHAT BURNED OUT. SO IT MIGHT NOT HAVE BEEN GREAT EXPECTATIONS)THAT KEPT THE PEOPLE AWAY IT IS JUST THEY GOT SO TIRED OF LOOKING WHEN THE PICKINGS WERE SO SLIM --AFTER ALL BRILLIANT,RICH,CHARMING AND BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE HAVE NO TROUBLE MEETING OTHERS LIKE THEM -- THEY JUST GAVE UP.

THAT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH OFFICE DECOR, SALESMEN ( DOES MAKE PEOPLE SEEM LIKE INANIMATE MERCHANDISE THOUGH,LIKED USED CARS OR REAL ESTATE!)

PEOPLE DON'T HAVE THE MONEY TO SPEND FOR THIS SORT OF THING NOW

What a scam

AUTHOR: Guy - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Sunday, February 01, 2009

I don't know who this "manager" is but stating that Great Expectations does events 3-4 times a month is just proof that they are a lier. The Great Expectations in my area doesn't even do them monthly, I have also never heard of ANY Great Expectations doing them more than once a month. They are also NOT cheap. Nice try, YOU LOSE

Unhappy Former Employee?...No, just disgusted by your ability to FRAUD the public~

AUTHOR: Duediligence - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, January 29, 2009

In reading the rebuttal, I can assure everyone reading this, that it was posted "Not by the MANAGER" as indicated, but by the cowardly owner of this operation, Yole Vincent, who just happens to live in Miami. Additionally, if I'm not mistaken, she runs a cleaning company there. Unfortunatly for her, she has not realized that you can not run a professional office the same way you run your "cleaning" business. Then again, I guess the foundation is the same, she is "CLEANING OUT THE BANK ACCOUNTS" of unsuspected individuals here in Lee County!

See, Yole Vincent cares so much about her operation in Bonita Springs, that since she made the deal to purchase the dating site, she has not met "even one" of the employees of her office. Wow, thats been NINE MONTHS! I found it interesting that no one had met her face to face, including the professional recruiter that she hired to find "Top Notch" sales professionals. I would hope that anyone would see through her "smoke" to discredit my professionalism, my employment history or my sense of professional ethic. My background is very solid, working for a few of the largest national financial corporations in the United States. In the hiring process with these companies, background checks WERE done, as well as professional references from my former employers....Might I also add that there have only been a few in my 25 years in the work force. I assure you that if anyone is "emotionally unstable or a thief, it would certainly be Mrs. Vincent. The insinuations just make me laugh! Please ask the office manager, who is in the Bonita Springs office, what my level of professionalism was and how much I truely cared about my clients~I dont believe her heart is "black" like the owner's is. Additonally, she worked with me EVERY DAY.....more than I can say about the owner who truely knows nothing about me or any other employee, or member for that fact. I think she must be emotionally unbalanced to attempt to attack a former employee like this.

If it were just I, who was a disgruntled former employee, I would not have made a posting to this site. My true reasoning for this posting from the beginning was to make sure that the general public was aware of the recklessness of this operation. If the "manager who posted the rebuttal" wants to PROVE that they have HUNDREDS OF HAPPY MEMBERS, ASK THE SALES REPRESENTATIVE TO SHOW YOU THE DATABASE PRIOR TO SIGNING A CONTRACT.....bet you can't get them to do it! If I was an owner or manager of an operation like this, and truely had nothing to hide, I would show you my HAPPY MEMBERS and HAPPY COUPLES in a heart beat!! Additionally, I will tell you that there are at least 5 other "disgruntled former employees" of this location that have quit because of the unethical practices of this owner. Hummmm, as a matter of fact, I am going to send them this link so that they may also post their negative experiences with this unethical operation. Maybe then you will have a better sense of what this scam is really about.

Its funny to me that the rebuttal also mentions that they hold 3-4 events per month and that the "in house events" are generally at no cost. That is almost the BIGGEST LIE that has been written. To prove the validity of my posting, PLEASE ASK the office manager to SHOW YOU ALL THE FUN EVENTS THAT HAVE TRUELY HAPPENED since April 2008. As a former employee, I will tell you that there have been VERY FEW and they were all at a nice little cost to the member to attend; THUS THE ATTENDANCE WAS A HANDFUL.

Please do your "DUE DILLIGENCE" on this location BEFORE you are pressured into signing a contract. Ask the questions, ask for the proof of events, ask to see all the happy members and ask the office/sales personnel just how long they have been there and how their professional background relates to the job they currently do. Trust me when I say, get your information and facts UPFRONT as they will probably NOT be there in a month from now; thats been the employee pattern since this operation was taken over in April 2008. Her day in court is coming very soon and I will keep you updated.

Mitchell Brandt would have been better served to hold on to this office location that was run successfully for thirteen years. The current owner could care less about anyone or anything but how much money she can milk the public for....it's sad that people are being taken advantage of like this.

PS. I would also like to add that the "manager" who posted the rebuttal should LEARN TO SPELL~

#5 UPDATE Employee

another bad employee?

AUTHOR: Manager - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, January 28, 2009

A disgruntled employee was hired and it was later found that her resume was a fake and, and to be an employee with a list of very unhappy former employees who would not give her a positive recommendation.

This person later found to be unbalanced and under severe therapy who goes around from one job to the next creating havoc. Also, found to have compulsions to create chaos at a place for a while then is fired and starts the cycle over with the next unsuspecting employee.

The person above wanted to get paid salary for not coming to work, for cancelling appointments and refusing to render services her contract demanded.
This business has been in good standing with hundreds of happy, satisfied customers and will continue to provide quaity service to all members in spite of disgruntled, unstable types as the former employee above living in Cape Coral.

Like many quality dating services, the events are planned to facilitate bringing members together in a safe, upscale environment. Most in house events are free, well organized and catered according to Great Expectations high standards.
Outside events that are of great interest do incur a very much discounted. As with everything in life you get what you pay for but high quality events are well planned and geared towards complete satisfaction.

The out of pocket cost is extremely discounted and based on the service the member receives.
The employee above lives in Cape Coral Bonnie Letch was lazy, did not want to work, see appointmens, compalined about training, wanted to get paid for expenses never offered and behaved like a child when they did not get their way thus had to be let go.
Beware of hiring this person as they are highly unstable, want to get paid for not working and not producing services they were hired to.

True, at the end of the year GE moved to a new location with white walls...that's the only thing that the poster got correct. What they did not mention is that since the business has moved we have painted, upgraded all furniture & revamped the entire office. We have many rooms for expansion and are making improvements daily. The negative poster was disgruntled because she only wanted to work 15-20 hours per week but remain at full time salary. This person is now being investigated for theft. She needs to be very carefuk about a slander suit.

Events are monthly, typically we have 3-4 events a month. The staff is great, everyone is concerned about the clients & making them happy! Stop by anytime, meet the staff, check out the office...we welcome you.
