Great Expectations Of Nashville Scam Artists Who Prey On Lonely Vulnerable Singles Must Be Put Out Of Business Nashville Tennessee

After reading rip off reports recently submitted by Eagleville, TN and Joanne, Nashville, TN complaining about their nightmare experiences with Great Expectations of Nashville I could not agree more. This sleazy, dishonest, immoral organization preys on lonely, vulnerable singles and must be shut down before more people fall for their well-crafted, smooth, high pressure sales pitch. They promise the world and deliver nothing. I signed up in late July, 2008 and made numerous calls to the owners Laura and Greg Berenato to cancel my membership well within the 72 hour period allowed by the 1989 Dating Service Contract Act. After calling at least six times to cancel (well within three days of signing up)I was finally lied to by a third party telling me that Greg and Laura had quit working at Great Expectations and no one else had authority to cancel my membership.

Interestingly enough, in early August their business number had been disconnected. Then September 6, 2008 I received an email from someone named Natalie Burton telling me that Great Expectations had gone out of business and her dating service was willing to offer Great Expectations members the opportunity to try their program at no cost. I did not call her. I only want Great Expectations of Nashville to cancel my membership and give my credit card company the permission to remove the disputed charge from my credit card. What a nightmare this whole experience has been.

I too would be very interested in pursuing a class action lawsuit if necessary, and have filed a complaint against Great Expectations of Nashville with the Tennessee Attorney General's office.

I will forever be suspicious of and reluctant to sign-up with dating services.
