Great fun has been charging my amx card for 7 months. Ive been trying to get in touch with some body  and for some reason i havent talked to a sole. I just received a letter form them stating that they do not accept amx any more for me to give them another card or lose my benefits. I called the number on the letter and it took like 20 mins for somebody to answer. Then he wouldent even tell me what it was he just kept saying "you signed up for it last april" i was like what!!! He didnt want to listen to me or anything. Think god they dont accept amx or i would still be paying 19.99. Im getting my card number changed.

Future Reference-Call Your Credit Card Co!!

I know that you say you did not sign up for anything but you had to have entered your cc info somewhere that included the security code on the back and the billing zip code. It may be something that said free on the website or something. ex. I did a reverse phone look up for "free" then it came back saying the info they found would cost me $1.99. I was game (I REALLY wanted to know who's # this was) I did not read the fine print which stated that if I did not cancel my "subscription" they would charge my account 17.99 p/month. I realized it when I all of the sudden my register was off my 17 bucks from my actual balance.

So I FIRST went to my bank. I thought that someone stole my cc info. They cancelled the card first and said that it was one of two things. One: I authorized something I didnt remember or Two someone got my card and was charging a small amount to see if I caught it. They gave me the name of the company in which charged the 2nd time, It was a different name than the original 1.99 charge.

So after some googling and searching I got a number and after hoop jumping finally got a hold of a person. Through a strong language barrier I finally discovered that it was from the Reverse Phone Look up. I had agreed to have a subscription unless I cancelled.

SO, for anyone discovering a charge on the account first call the bank (or in your case the credit card comapny) They will cancel the card so that no further transactions can be taken out. Then try and find out if you actually signed up for the company or someone stole your card. If someone did in fact steal the numbers and find out the combo of code on the back and your zip, you need to file a police report. You were ripped off but there is a line that you are no longer a victim after you dont do anything to stop them from taking more out.
