 We hired American Deck and Sunroom to install a 1500 square foot multi level deck with 2 pergolas at our home 10 years ago. We have had to replace various boards over the years but this year the extent of the rot was made oblivious when the deck boards began to pop up due to the rotting of the joists under the deck. A representative from Great Southern Wood came out and agreed to replace all the wood for the deck with the exception of uprights and pergolas. As you can imagine the labor is not included and is very expensive for us. We think that should be responsible for total cost since this is completely their fault and we should not bare any costs to have this problem fixed. We have maintained this deck to the upmost level during the 10 years and have documentation showing that.
