I wish to alert all to what has been so far a horrible experience that is both frustrating and simple.  I purchased a vacuum from Great Vacs on the internet.  One of the reasons I used them is their "31 day no questions asked" return policy.  I received my vacuum on a Friday and knew out of the box it was not what I wanted.  To be clear, they shipped what I ordered....I ordered wrong.  The next business day (Monday) I read their return policy and it states one must get "authorization" before returning an item.  This is normal and I am familiar with why companies have this requirement.  I sent an email to the address provided (company states they prefer being contacted by email) and received a very nice "come back" automated message saying my email was received and someone would get back with me soonest. 

It is now 2 weeks later and no one has contacted me.  I have sent 14 additional emails, left 6 phone messages and left 2 messages on their web site requesting someone contact me to explain how to return the vacuum.  Over 2 weeks later and still no one has written or called me!

Fortunaltey I used "Amazon Payments" so I contacted Amazon for help is resolving this problem.  Amazon has sent 2 emails that I know of and no one has responded to those messages either.  I am protected by the Amazon "A-Z" policy so thank goodness I know I will not lose my money but this is a warning to everyone out there......Great Vacs may send you a great vacuum but do not ever try to return it or get any customer service or hope to speak to anyone.  Their 31 day return policy is worthless if no one contacts you.  I still hope to resolve this issue simply and easily (guess it's too late for the easy part).  I am a Colonel in the Army and have a few other things to worry about than this but so far trying to return this vacuum has consumed hours of my time and quite frankly is very frustrating.

There are other companies out there.  For your own sake and sanity do not purchase from this company.  Looksl ike it once was an honorable and respectable company (based on reviews and BBB "A+" rating) but it's been 17 days and still no one has contacted me.  Do yourself a favor, go somewhere else!!
