Green Mountain Energy Scammed Elderly Mother into switching Mesquite Texas

Last Friday a rep from Green Mountain Energy came to my 70 y/o Mothers home.  He proceeded to tell her that she would have to sign up for service with them since her current provider would no longer be servicing her area and the meter on her home would no longer work. If she didn't sign up for service with him that day she ran a risk of service interruption and since she is on oxygen and must have power for her machine she went ahead and signed up for their service.
Later that day, after speaking to my brother, she called Green Mountain and canceled the switch.  The rep there told her that it had not been processed in the system yet and she noted the account that she wanted to cancel.

While on the phone she spotted the rep still in the neighborhood and waved him down to tell him that she felt like she had been taken and was canceling the service.  He went ahead and sent it though anyways, even went so far as to remind her that they had prayed about it while he was there visiting her her.  She called her current company as well as the area provider and advised them of what had happened and while on the phone with her current provider they saw the order process through from Green Mountain for the switch.  Her service ended up being switched for about 4 days before she was able to talk to someone at her original provider who was able to switch her back same day but in order to do that she had to change the policy into her name when it has been in my fathers name for the last 30 some odd years and sign up for a contract when she had not been on one previously.

Green Mountain has some shady people working for them to be able to come into an elderly woman's home and flat out lie and confuse her into signing up for a product she would never have signed up for in the first place and then to be able to act like they are a Christian and pray with her about it.  Despicable! Shame on you Green Mountain and your reps!
