Green Tree Capital Group Investments ripoff Scam Conartist Heartless People Boston Massachusetts

I applied for a loan online and was contacted back by a company by the name of Green Tree Capital, the mans name was Alan Greeberg on 09-18-06 he stated that I was approved for a loan in the amount of 5,000, which was the amount that I aksed for. He told me the terms of the loan were 36 months, with payments at 150.00 a month, with a 6% interest rate. He also stated that I needed to put a 6 month collateral payment up of 900.00 that would go towards the loan , and I would not have to make the payments for 6 months, I agreed to this, and the Alen Greenburg guy told me to wire the 900.00 to this Cindy Latimer lady located in Canada, by money gram. I did this 09-22-06, the following morning an Arthur Miles contacted me stating that the lender re-evaluated my application and they are requiring a 12 month collateral payment.

At first I did not agree to this I wanted a refund, and Arthur stated that they could not refund the money until 10-18-06, I found this to be outrageous because I had just given them all of my money expecting to get a loan on that following Monday. Being that I had already put myself in a situation where I really could not afford to be out 5,000.00 or 900.00 at that, I went ahead and wired them another 900.00. That Monday I was supposed to get a direct deposit of 5,000.00 and it was not there, I called Arthur Miles, and he stated that the lender had "backed out" and did not want to do the deal, so I said there is no reason for that, and again he stated he could not refund my money until 10-18-06, again I found this to be unaccetable, I had bills due.

At this point I contacted the BBB, and they gave me a number to the division of banks in Boston,MA, I spoke to a gentleman there who advised me that he had actually been to this address (60 State St.) and nobody was there, from that point I knew I had been a victim of a scam.

These type of people are absoluetly heartless, and there has to be a way to track them down. October 18th is coming up very soon so I decided to call just to see what they would say, and now the phone # (1-800-727-0742) is out of order, you can't speak to anyone there is just a voicemail.

In a matter of 2 days I managed to accumulate more that 3,000.00 more dollars in debt, more than I was already in.

It would be nice to see my money refunded and to also be reimbursed for my un-paid bills and troubles. For any and all who read this please be advise that this company is FOUL. If there is anyone that can help in this matter I would really appreciate it.
