Recently I fell behind on my payments, but always sent something each month even if it wasnt the full amount. I received a visit from one of the only nice people I have met with Green Tree and his name is Don- he informed me that GT had it set up for me to be served with an eviction notice but two hours earlier they stopped it. He gave me the number of a Cherise to call, said she was very nice and would help me. I called her the next morning around 10 and was treated so rudely I was almost in tears by the time she got done cutting me down.
Today in the mail I received a notice from the Clerk of Court about the same action- dated June 15th- over a month ago. Tonight the sheriff gave me papers about having to get this taken care of something called a replevin of the property and something about having to be out by the 9th of August or my things would be put out on the street. When I talked to the person who was suppose to be able to help me I explained that this account would be caught up by the 22nd of this month 2 days away- she just said well I cant help you. She didnt try to help me she just made me feel like I was dirt under her feet and she could care less.
Well I also found out that the company that bought out Chrsyler- Damlier resently bought Green Tree. I want to know if they are still going to do business this way or are they going to find kind considerate peopleto work for them and help people or are they going to treat people like dirt as well.? Green Tree has some of the rudest people in their emnployee. As for you people with your harrassing phone calls, I found a way to stop them. When you call you get a recording saying this call may be recording for so called training purposes. Tell them you want the same courtesy- you want everything in writting or an email so you can print it out- then you have verification oif what was said and they cant call you a liar. I dont get phone calls from them any more. I can call them but they cant call me.
This company also needs to get back to doing business like it used to be done. You have one person to work with, one person has your account and one place to send payments. Not twenty different people writtingor calling and 12 different addresses to contact or send payments to. It took them over 2 weeks to deposit a payment of mine- no wonder I look like Im way behind.
