Green Tree Ripoff dishonest thevies frauds ST. Paul Minnesota

Green Tree bought our loan from Green Point credit in 2005 and ever since then we have been getting harrassing phones calls almost every day. I ended up changing our number. They started calling my husbands mother saying we havent made any payments on our mobile home. My husband called up Green tree to let them know that we were not behind on our payments,,, I have sent proof of canceled checks front and back. And i didnt hear from them for 2 months.

Now in December of 2006 the first time we hear back from them is a document saying we had 14 days to answer the letter before the serve a writ of possession. Well we did answer the letter. But GUESS what????? They took a writ of possession out any way before the date of the 14 days was up.

I went and hired a lawyer to help us to a set a side motion until we can go to court. Any way I have noticed that the checks i have been sending in since Oct they have been holding them and not putting it towards our payments they said it will go to the lawyer and court cost... Well I just dont think so...

Green Tree maybe a big company that likes to rip off little people like us... And they may win when i do go to court on Feb, 20th, 2007 But God knows they are wrong...

I sure hope that people get more aware of this company and let people know that when they go buy a house do not use Green Tree and also stipulate if by chance your loan gets sold Green Tree cannot buy your loan...
