I took out a second mortgage on my home in July 2001. I borrowed $15,442.60. I am selling my house, and I have requested a payoff from Green Tree/Conseco. I owe them more now than what I borrowed, even though I paid them 30 payments in this time period, plus paid late fees every single month.
