Greentree Servicing ripoff: Forclosed 2 times in 6 months, sold home, demanded deficiency payments St. Paul Minnesota

We bought our home in 1999 and had NO problems until about 2 years ago when I became disabled. We got behind 2 payments and they forclosed on us and we caught up and about 5 months later I got behind 1 payment and they forclosed on us again. They sent us a 10-day vacate letter without even going to court. So, we moved out.

Then they filed papers with the court 25 days later. We told them we would not go to court with them and that they could have their home that they wanted so badly. About a month later we got a letter saying they were having a private sale and would let us know when, but of course, we never heard. So, the park manager bought the home for $7,000. Then they sent us a deficiency letter saying we owed $24,000 on it. They put on our credit report that we owed $29,655 as a charge-off.

They gave us the loan knowing that my husband was on disability. So since I am not working and my husband draws SSDI, they cannot make us pay the diference. But they put it on our credit and now we can't even get a loan to buy anything else. They are the biggest "CROOKS" I have ever seen in my entire lifetime. I wish there was somebody who could make them pay for what they are doing to so many honest hearted and hard working people who maybe have come upon hard times. Thanks for listening!
