I purchased a 2005 ford f150 at a ford dealership in Wpb and i live in Orlando. on the 13th or Dec 2007 My vehicle broke down and i called a tow to bring it in to the closest ford dealership which was greenway ford for a check up.it was given to Ken Lewton and he was the one who called me to keep me informed. I purchesed an extended warranty and before that i purchased a new battery for the truck. friday morning ken called me telling me that they needed to do a electronic diagnostic check but the battery i purchased was bad. now i work an hour away which they knew and they wanted me to buy a battery from them which was over one hundred and twenty ($120 something). why would i do that when i can just take the battery out and switch it for a new one free of charge with my reciept. ken lewton said to continue the diagnostic check you need a new battery and he wouldnt just hook another battery up temporarily to finish the diagnostic. i had to drive an hour from work to just get the battery to switch it. So i did and they put the battery in so they say and ken came back and told me there is an electrical problem but we cant do anything until tuesday. i sprung it on them i had an extended warrenty and he got all of a sudden clustered. uttering his words and said sign here so you know where the price is so far and i will pass it on to Dave Henretty for saturday. his guies can work on it. still no car. Saturday i call dave and he told me very stern " I dont know what paperwork you are talking about who is this?" i am going to pass you to Rick the service manager. HUH? shall i keep going. Well had to get moms in the mix she knows a few managers at two other ford dealerships and she made some calls. she must have rattled some brains cause all of a sudden i get a call from Rick the service manager. all day phone tag. the rental companies by me close at 3 or 4 pm so i need to know whats up. they had the car fri all day and sat all day still nothing. finally i get a call like ten till four and four the warrenty company closes. Someone called me saying the VSM was the problem and it was going to cost me 600. plus dollars. i told him i had warranty and he was very stern on the phone like he didnt care and it was a large inconvenience for him to send a diagnosis to the warranty so i could get some transportation. Finally Rick calls me back almost yelling telling me warranty people only cover this and not this and you have to pay over 300. dollars out of my pocket. The worst thing is that they told me they dont have the part until tues. the same day my moms called they told her they had the part but it wont be done until mon or tues cause it has to be callibrated. RIGHT THERE THEY LIED.. Shall i continue? now the Warranty company is closed i am not a rich person. just a college kid with a five to six day a week job and i feel they think they are the big man and they can do whatever they want. anyways they call my mom back telling her here is what we can do we can put the part in and give him the car back but he has to bring it back the next day cause we have to finish the job. why would you do that. get a unfinished job that is going to cost me half rent to bring it back and who else knows what tricks they have under their sleve. naw keep it until its done and i will call the warranty company and find out why they wont cover diagnostic when it says that in the contract and Ford is trying to charge me $181 dollars for two hours of unfinished diagnostic check and 30 dollars for installing the new battery i brought. shoot i could have gone back there and put it in myself. its not right. They are prying on the poor and defensless. I got a letter for them to the BBB and the president of the company. chuh. I still have to call the warranty on monday and pick up the car. hope they didnt break anything else. who knows.

I called the warranty company and they basically told me that the ford dealership is tryin to charge them more time than it takes to install the part. YOU WILL NEVER GUESS HOW MUCH MY BILL WAS. $50.00.
NOW WHAT DOES THAT SAY!!!!!!!!!
