The November-2009 "Buy-Back Program" is a new low for this dealership.  Targetted consumers receive a letter from Alvin Davis (General Sales Manager) announcing a "special pre-authorized buy-back terms that will give you more for your vehicle than ever before".

The letter goes on to state "Effective immediately, we will buy-back your current vehicle at 100% of the ORIGINAL FACTORY BASER MSRP* for when it was new." but there is no asterixed note to be found on the letter.   The last sentence in the 3rd paragraph; however, is their out as it states "Adjustments can be made for mileage, excessive wear and tear and reconditioning costs at 10 to 55 cents per mile.".

When I called them up, the sales-slug asked me the same questions about my vehicle that I'd have to answer, and in the same order, were I looking up the Kelly Blue Book value on kbb.com.
Surprise, surprise... after the "adjustments" they offered me the exact same dollar values as the standard Kelly Blue Book Trade-In value, which I should presumably be able to obtain any time anywhere.
Not exactly the "incredible" incentive lauded in the first paragraph.

How DARE You Critcize This BBB "Accredited" Business!

AUTHOR: Jim - (USA)

POSTED: Thursday, December 03, 2009

Deceptive advertising?  From Greenway, a BBB "Accredited" business???  You must be on drugs!  Greenway, owned by Hispanic Businessman of the Year, Frank Rodriquez has a "B+" rating by the Central Florida BBB.  Greenway Dodge has an "A-" rating!

Yes, you ARE ON DRUGS, my friend...the kind of drugs that have brought you common sense and opened your eyes to the Frank Frodriquez schlock operation.  Deceptive advertising?  Let's take a look, shall we?

1.  AS A BBB MEMBER, McInerney Ford under Frank Frodriquez ran radio advertising claiming they were going out of business, closing their doors at the so-called "big corner of Colonial and Semoran".  At the same time, BBB MEMBER Greenway Ford under Frank Frodriquez as "President" ran billboard advertising announcing their opening and the line "formerly Mcinerney Ford".

2.  AS A BBB MEMBER, Greenway Ford ran advertising claiming "convoys and convoys" of trucks were arriving daily with cars "diverted here" due to "bad weather up north".  (When were the traffic tie ups because of this?).

3.  AS A BBB MEMBER, the Frank Frodriquez Greenway Ford ran advertising claiming truck drivers didn't want to go any further and "dropped their Ford's here!"  (I can just hear the CB now..."Hey John, look over there!  Its a Ford dealer.  Let's get rid of these cars there and then we can vacation at the beach instead of taking them to Atlanta like the bills of lading say!")

4.  AS A BBB MEMBER, the Frank Frodriquez Greenway Ford and Dodge do not have the honesty and integrity to advertise the REAL PRICE for their cars.  They advertise a FAKE PRICE and then add a $600-$900 bogus, add-on, phoney fee to make up the difference.  (This is one of the things Bogus Billy Heard used to do before he shut down because the Georgia Attorney General was after him for fraud and deception.  Looks like Frankie boy is following in his hero's footsteps!)

My friend, YOU DID RIGHT!  I'm proud of you!  Tell everybody you know about this schlock operation and while your at it, tell them how Frankie Boy does all this with the complete acceptance of the Central Florida "Better" Business Bureau.  Why?  Because the BBB sells memberships and these phoney "accreditations" like those internet operations where you can buy fake diplomas and college degrees!

You wouldn't get me within a mile of Greenway or the so-called Executive Director of the Central Florida BBB!  The SMELL is enough to send you to the hospital!

SHALOM
