To Whom It May Concern:

I am writing to express my extreme disappointment and outrage at how my Trip was handled. I have not rode a grey hound bus in over 10 years, and will not be riding it again, due to the harassment from your driver, which made the trip to Illinois very stressful.

I boarded the bus on the way to Chicago that morning of August 16th. The Driver was an Asian man who was very rude and harassed all the passengers during the duration of the trip.  It was awful.

While he was driving he blurted out that we could not talk on our cell phones because what we have to say was not important.  He also started screaming that we would “kick people off the bus” if they were caught laughing or talking.  This was by far the worse experience I’ve ever had with Greyhound!

While driving from destination to destination for other stops, the driver continued to yell that he would put people off the bus if they got rude with him or he heard us talking.  The problem, I have with this driver is that, no was saying a word on the bus the whole time during the trip. He was not directing his anger to any particular person that they were doing anything wrong.

The passengers were silent.  I think this driver needs to be checked for drug use on mental health issues because he was way too hostile.

I was very afraid of him and will never ride the grey hound again, I would have hated to bring my kids on the bus and they felt threatened every hour to be put off the bus and were totally innocent.

It did not make sense. It was as if the driver hated people and hated his job and was on the edge borderline of taking his frustrations out on the passengers. I hope my receiving this letter that this driver would be investigated and reprimanded. I am a tax payer and a hard worker and I deserve to have a peaceful ride on your buses without being harassed by the driver.  It is totally unacceptable.

Everyone on the bus that night said that they were going to file a complaint against this driver and that most of them felt like they were being verbally and emotionally abused by the driver.  If this issue is not addressed, I will be forwarding this letter to everyone I can, including any means of social media, and the attorney general’s office and BBB or news medial if I have to.

In addtion, there airline pilots, other bus company drivers,school but drivers  and people that drive passengers anywhere all over the world  and they have never acted like anything I've seen on 8/26/13 with Greyhound.

Most of them would just quit if the job is getting them that badly. You should not shop anywhere in America and recieve crappy service or bullied and harrassed by the person giving the service.

I work for a company that prides itself on its customer service. If I acted like the driver I experienced, I would be fired point blank for not appreciating the customers and treating them well. Our customers are ultimately is how we make our money and stay in business and the company I work for never forgets that.

It does not matter, what ethnicity the driver was. I was just describing him so that when coporate hears about his behavior they will know exactly who I'm referring to.

Your rebuttal does not mean a thing. I have Executives that will get a copy of this post as well.  It does not change how the driver treated passengers for no reason.  If he has problems with previous passengers on a previous route, that's not my problem and has nothing to do with the new passengers.  

We as passengers do have rights! sorry your'e little excuses does not help the situation. RUDE AND UNREASONABLE SERVICE IS JUST WHAT IT IS RUDE AND UNREASONABLE SERVICE!

IT IS WHAT IT IS!  THE WHOE BUS FELT THE SAME WAY I DID, SO GO FIGURE. AND YOU CAN'T PLAY THE RACE CARE ON THIS EITHER.  HOW THE DRIVER BEHAVED DOES NOT HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH RACE OR ETHNICITY.

ITS OVER...IF HE DOESN'T LIKE THE JOB THEN HE NEEDS TO FIND ANOTHER, JOB THIS IS AMERICA AND HE HAS A CHOICE.  SO NO EXCUSES. DONT CARE HOW LONG YOU'VE BEEN WITH THE COMPANY OR HOW MUCH MONEY YOU HAVE, NO EXCUSE FOR RUDENESS. GREY HOUND WILL LOSE MONEY OVER THIS POSTING AND YOU DID NOT MAKE IT ANY BETTER FOR FUTURE PASSENGERS!!!

THE DRIVER CAN FIND SOMEONE ELSE TO BULLY! HE WONT GET THE CHANCE AGAIN!!!

 First let me say grow a thicker skin. The driver was addressing ALL of you as one. He didnt single you out, and from the sounds of it, this bus load wasnt the nicest this driver has had to deal with. Perhaps you should be less of a idiot and more understanding. These drivers have to maintain and control a 40+ ft vehicle. Where the slightest miscalculation could have all of you DEAD!! So because this driver is telling ppl to be quiet its so he can concentrate on driving.

So you go right ahead and file your complaints. They have full video and audio normally because of insurance. Ten to one they will find that the ppl were being loud and unruly. The driver was WELL WITHIN HIS RIGHTS AS OUTLINED BY ANY STATE TO KEEP THE PASSENGERS IN LINE. Sounds to me like you dislike asians. Because anyone who knows anything about the transportation industry knows that a bus driver is exactly like a ships captain.

They have 50+ lives in thier hands. And they have to get those ppl to thier destination alive. You have no idea what the driver had to deal with previos to your boarding of the bus, so you have no context. Your just butthurt that the driver was controlling his bus. Like I said go ahead and file your complaints. And sometime down the road when you loose your job because someone didnt like HOW you did it, you can think back to this bright and shining little example.
