Groton Hobby Shop AKA Tiny Details Kristopher Buchan Kris Buchan Took money, no product, communication impossible, extremely rude and volatile, likely a racist Groton New York

Groton Hobby Shop is the formerly named Tiny Details run by Kristopher Buchan, or Kris Buchan. I had ordered a kit from his store and I never received the kit, though magically my money had been taken. Weeks went by, still nothing, so I called. And called. And called. I decided to just go there since his shop wasn't too far away and he went ballistic when I started asking about my order. I tried to be as polite as possible initially, but he immediately started to freak out, started shouting something about how people are out to get him and that it's BS and that he never received my money or my order and that I could just go F myself because i'm a filthy immigrant. My bank statements say differently though. As far as the filthy immigrant comment went, I am not sure where that came from, because I am only partially hispanic. Please folks, do not patron this shop no matter what name he uses. I was actually scared of getting hurt, I am an old man and cannot put up a fight. And this guy was coming at me like I just took a swing at him when I was just simply asking where my order was and why I could not contact anyone.

A year or so ago, Kris Buchan changed the name of his store to avoid heat he was receiving for other people's orders that he did not fulfill, but took their money. The name of that store was Tiny Details, and I have no doubt he will change the name again when people start complaining again. He was even litigious enough to try and sue his former customers for "libel". And like the pansy he is, he kept going back and forth threatening his former customers, bloggers and anyone who spoke out against him. He filed a lawsuit, but it failed because the judge in town is quite aware of Buchan's shenanigans and knows that he is a know-nothing thief with a bad attitude and a short fuse. His parents should be ashamed of who he is and how he treats people. I should also mention he works for or owns a real estate company called Tompkins Cortland Real Estate, I certainly hope he doesn't treat customers there the same way he did me.
