I'm writing to warn other repair guys to stay away from the products of this company, Group Vertical.  Not only are they extremely poor quality and often of defect, the company will refuse to refund all of your money.  My experience is with thier ipad screens, iphone screens, and macbook display glass.  This is even my second time givng them a chance to prove that they had in fact improved the quality of their product.  (This is what the owner had told me, Ryan)

I called and spoke with Sara Schut and she tried to strong arm me by threatening not to refund my money over a bad review I had wrote.  She had already promised me the refund but after seeing a bad review, she said she could not refund it now.  

At (((REDACTED))) we try to give our customers the highest quality parts.  It's a shame I have to spend as much time as I do dealing with shady suppliers with used/defective product.  Group Vertical is without a doubt, a subpar iphone, ipad, and computer part supplier.

I had several pieces that did not work correctly  and you claimed they worked just fine.  Because of this, you said you would be keeping 15% of my money.  You only offered me back my 15% if I promised to take down a comment I made on youtube.  You basically were strong arming me for my 15%.  

Bottom line, your product does not meet the high quality standards I expect.  Not only that, you often lie and say something is new when it is not.  Other repair guys should know this. 

Group Vertical should stop purchasing used product and claiming it to be new.  And keeping 15% of a return and claiming it is in perfect working condition is dishonest.  Period.

Thank you for your reponse, I was not dishonest in anyway - we did in fact give you a refund for all your returns. Our restocking fee does apply, in specific cases when a customer returns a product after a specific amount of time or if the product is returned for no longer needed. Our customer service team did offer to refund you the restocking fee, but you stated you did not want your 15% back and then you proceeded to speak profanities then hung up the phone several times on us, we tried our very best to assist and accomidate you. 

Thank you for mentioning the eBay 30 day warranty, that is eBay's policy - they allow 30 days to return an item on their website, although we do accomidate all of our customers with our return policy which is 1 year. We would be happy to talk to any and all of our customers about a product or return by calling us at 616.425.9141.

There is no need to be dishonest.  I returned your product because it did not work correctly and you kept 15%.  You claimed it actually worked correctly.    If it worked correctly, I would have never returned it in the first place.   

Your company has a habit of lying.  Your ads often claim products are new when they are not.  When I have tried to talk to employess and even the owner, it was obvious you all don't even know what you are selling in most cases.   You are just buying a lot of cheap stuff from china and reselling it.  And to say you give a one year warranty is a lie.  Just about every single product you have listed on ebay has only a 30 day warranty.  It's really easy to do a search for your products on ebay to verify this.  

My only purpose of writing this review was to 1, tell others about about your poor quality products, and 2, tell others how you kept 15% of my money because you claimed the product was actually in working order.

Our return policy is clearly stated on our website and on ebay for your reference. groupvertical.com/return-policy We do offer a generous 1 year return policy if you are dissatisfied with our products. We are not perfect, nor are all the parts we sell, however we stand by our high quality products and we do have an excellent customer service team to help you with returns, if you have any problem at all. 

In your case, we did refund you for any and all of your product returns.
