I attended the Income Strategies Institute (ISI) 3 day seminar in Arlington Texas I believe around October 2008, but don't quote me on that.

When I heard the ad and did a little research on the company I heard a lot of negitive reports about them, but decided to pay 50 bucks and go anyways. Money to me has no value after all it's only paper with ink on it, thats used as a median for exchange in our society. It's what you buy with it that makes the difference in the long run. But thats besides the point.

I went to the seminar with an open mind, and I highly recommend this to anyone who goes to any type of investment seminar. I attend one about once a week if I can find them. But go to staples and buy a digital voice recorder for 40 bucks and it'll record about 100 hrs of sound. Really really worth it, so you can replay the seminar over and over again and really get out of it what you payed for. I keep getting sidetracked and maybe it's because it's midnight.

But my overall experience was not the best or the worst, they do tend to talk to you in a very inferior way which is aggravating but all part of a sales pitch. The booklet I got from them I still have for research reasons. But the material and information they give you, you can find in the most common areas. They just package it up different and stick a 40K price tag on it. I have a few books that anybody can read that'll explain the things they teach in a very simple form. And the way to achieve success is to go out and do it.
Reading:

Robert Kiyosaki- Rich dad, Poor Dad & Cashflow Quadrant
Dale Carnegie- How to win friends and influence people
Napoleon Hill- Think, and grow rich & Success Through a positive mental attitude

Those are all great reads if you want to know a lot about the theory and practice of wealth creation. If you want a book that really breaks it down to the nuts and bolts try:
Ken Little- Personal Finance desk reference
It's about 600 pages and a book I still study up on even with my degree in finance. But most of the information they teach at the ISI is very generic and just packaged differently and has a gold $40K sticker price.
I bought all of those books at Barnes and Noble for maybe $150 total. And I got a very thorough education out of it, more so than what I felt the "mentors" could teach me.

For my honest opinion on ISI, I did not have a good "gut feeling" about them. The mentors did not talk about the product like they really knew what they were talking about. They could have been Sales Professionals hired by ISI for all I knew and just paid a commission for how many sales they got.
But all in all its a way over priced product that teaches a lot of the same information that you can find in almost every "wealth course". But you can find it online or in a book store for a fraction of the price. They just put it all together and put a bow on it and did some fancy webinars and a few hours of their time for the "one on one" course a couple times a year. Definitely not worth 40K or even 10K.

For anyone who feels they got scammed or screwed, I'm sorry to hear that. But there are companys out there that have that as their only intention. And the goverment cannot police everyone. It's up to you to make the call if its a scam or not.
I wish good luck for everyone in their future endeavors for wealth.

Did you really read my report?

It seems you did not even read my report at all, or not very thoroughly. And I quote:

"But my overall experience was not the best or the worst, they do tend to talk to you in  a very inferior way which is aggravating but all part of a sales pitch"

"But the materials and information they give you, you can find in the most common areas. They just package it up different and stick a 40K price tag on it. I have a few books that anybody can read that'll explain the things they teach in a very simple form."

"For my honest opinion on ISI, I did not have a good "gut feeling" about them. The mentors did not talk about the product like they really knew what they were talking about. They could have been Sales Professionals hired by ISI for all I knew and just paid a commission for how many sales they got."

I'm sorry my grammar is not perfect, because I am not perfect. I am just giving an honest opinion about my experience with ISI.
As for being a seminar junkie, yes I am.
"Formal education will make you a living; self education will make you a fortune."
-Jim Rohn
I have found success with real estate and the forex because of my seminar education. Just recently I got an approval for the final HUD-1 on a short sale that will be grossing me about $14,000. More than I have ever spent on seminars, and that is just one of several deals I have on the board right now.
I wish you the best of luck in your life and hope you find happiness and joy in your journey for wealth.

Oh and by the way, I am Mormon.

I just read your "post". OK other than the fact your are a seminar junkie and almost got scammed by the Mormon Mafia, I have no idea what the hell you are trying to say.

I think you should go to your local community college and take a class on english composition and then write us back at that time.
