I have a policy with Grundy World Wide Insurance and I moved with my muscle car from NY to Fl permanantly. I have been trying to get my car registered in FL for a month now and Grundy is less than no help. All I needed was an insurance card for the state of Fl. The car has clear title and there are no loans against it. They insisted that I fill out a new application for them with my Fl address. Which was fine and I asked them to send me the application. The application never came, when I called them the guy said oh you know the post office it is terrible it takes weeks for it to get to you, ok this might be believable if I wasn't getting mail from all over the U.S sent to me within 3 days. It was the second time someone from Grundy has used this excuse. Ok so I had them E-Mail me a copy of the form this only took 3 days to do and then I had it printed up at the libary because my printer is still in NY. I then sent back the form 2 weeks ago and they still haven't opened the mail to send it to underwriting for a car they already insure. When I called to see what the dely was the first customer service rep hung up on me after 10 minutes on hold and never called me back. So I went through the whole process of calling again being on hold for another 15 minutes and the customer service rep couldn't find the application either. She said I will call you back it must still be in the mail room and they haven't openned all the mail from the weekend yet. She promised to call me back or get the insurance cards out to me asap. Well to make this long story short I never heard from her and never got the cards either. So I have this beautiful muscle car that I take to shows and have missed the last 2 shows because the registration has expired from NY and I can't register it here untill I have the new cards for Fl. I don't know how many people they have in their main office, but it isn't enough to offer a haflway decent customer service department. Oh yes one more thing they don't even have an e-mail address to send a complaint to.
