*General Comment: Dental Claim
I called them and asked them what info they needed to process my claim. They told me, and I got it and sent it to them. Then they say they will not pay. I guess they needed it for the janitor's bonus. Called them again. Told me they were paying it. A week later found out they were not paying it. Of the 6000.00 in detal work, I have had done, they have paid, $268.00. Woopi. I told them to cancel me. What a ripoff. Or maybe they needed it for toilet paper to wipe their a**.

Dental Claim

Your employer should have provided you a certificate booklet which includes the dental procedures that are covered and how they are paid. Additionally, it's cusotmary for your dentist to have any work that is estimated to cost more than a few hundred dollars "Pre-Authorized' so you, as the consumer, know up front what is covered and how much you will be responsible for. Not all dental procedures are covered and your dentist knows which are and which are not. The processing of a claim is not subjective, meaning that someone at the Guardian just can't decide if or how much to pay. They are obligated by a written contract with regard to both fees and procedures. I would suggest that you review your policy booklet and determine why the services were not covered. I would venture to guess that Guardian's denial of your claim is perfectly justified as per the written and binding provisions of the policy under which you are covered.
