I was contacted by phone offering me a mastercard with a 2000.00 limit for a one time fee of 299.00 Guess what money came out of my checking account on 1/30/04, package came in the mail 2/24, and no credit card, just some useless merchant card and a pre approved mastercard with no bank's name on the application, but you needed to send an additional 39.95 and wait another three weeks. I don't think so, I already paid 299.00, I promptly went to my bank and filed a revoke of authorization and if I don't get anywhere there, I will go to the consumer protection board
