Guardsman Furniture protection plan Worthless damage warranty  Maryland

 Bought leather sectional from Linder's furniture, and purchased the 5 year protection plan for the furniture. 4 Years in the leather finish has started to strip off the sofa. I filed the claim and waited for about a week. When I got a call from a Guardsman associate who informed me that the claim would not be covered under the warranty because they didn't build the sofa and could not guarantee the quality of the leather finish. Then why sell a warranty? I was speachless. So the moral of the story is as I thought that no warranty is ever worth the purchase as they always seem to have some wierd loophole that they will slip through. Thanks Guardsman... you bunch of rip off frauds!
