Guitar Plaza David Hibbs is a rip off, didn't have product, charged card and didn't issue refund. Be aware of this store and owner! Abusive language from David, pathetic customer service skills! Fort Lauderdale , Florida

After placing an internet order in December 2009, I checked the website for the status of $599 guitar from www.guitarplaza.com and each time I checked there wasn't any information about the order on the order link.  Though the card was charged.  When I called David at the guitar shop and asked him about the order he stated that it hadnt yet been shipped because they didnt have it yet.  I was shocked as it had been some time since the order was placed and I had been checking the website.  He went off on me immediately, no explanation.  He told me it wasnt his problem I didnt check on the order by calling like the other 50 people who had called that their items hadnt been shipped (sounds like he has lots of problems).  He began cussing at me and when I tried to explain that I was just checking on my order he freaked and told me F-U you b. , consider your order cancelled and hung up on me.  I immediately called back and and he picked up the phone, not even answering it.  When he heard my voice he said, F  -U you b and hung up on me.  He immediately emailed me telling me my order was cancelled.  HE DIDNT ISUUE A CREDIT on my card!  Great business practice huh?  We had to go through our credit card company to get our money back.  Be aware of this guy, David owner of guitar plaza.  To not even have the guitar after such time had lapsed, to handle a situation as he did and then not credit your money!  His abusive language was enough much less all the other disgusting ways he handles his customers.  He doesnt deserve your business. 

I waited to write this complaint until I knew our credit had gone through.  I didn't give David the pleasure of knowing this was my child's Christmas present and I had to start the process all over again.  He cancelled my order 4 days before Christmas.  Shop somewhere else, don't give him your hard earned money!
