To anyone who may wish to work for Gutter Force and it's affiliate Toronto Window Cleaning Force;

Owner of this company is a SCAM, SCAM SCAM.

Mark, guy who is behind this bogus company called Gutter Force often posts ads on Craigslist and Kjiji of Canada, announcing to the world that he pays anywhere from 150-200 CAD a day for eavesthroughs(or gutters, hence the name of this debacle) cleaning in fall and window cleaning in spring.  Naturally, and quite understandably in this time and age, unemployed person will answer the add and arrange the meeting with Mark to discuss potential employment. This is where the trouble starts. Mark, along with his wife Gladys, will be sweeter than raw sugar in explaining to You how he has well established clientele base from Toronto to Thunder Bay, that apparently can't wait for Gutter Force to come and clean their eavesthroughs/gutters. Your job would be to go from house to house on a pre designed route and offer already acquainted customers Your cleaning services.

Based on the size of the house You would be getting from 40 to 50% of the amount payed by that house for eavesthrough cleaning, which is approximately 50 CAD for one hour of work. Sounds excellent doesn't it? No sales involved, only hard work and long hours generously compensated in your wage.

WRONG.

Here is my personal account of the experience I had in  two weeks working for Gutter Force. I was unemployed at the time and in dire need for cash. Browsing Craigslist somewhere in October of 2010 I found the add looking for young and fit people willing to work hard and long cleaning eavesthroughs all over the province of Ontario. Estimated daily wage was between 150-200 CAD. I jumped right into it, and after being sweet talked from the owner, Mark, I decided to take it. I was very excited, it all seemed like adventure waiting to happen. Several days later I arrived at the meeting point along with 5 other people with whom I was supposed to spend a month at the northern borders of Ontario, cleaning eavesthroughs. Idea behind this is that fall arrives earlier that far north and leaves would already be fallen off, providing us with ample houses to clean.

During our trip there Mark obviously had no freakin' idea where he was going. He stoppped multiple times at the different real estate agencies asking about the locations of the rich houses (unbelieveable I know), and making us disembark at every little town and going from one house to another asking the owners if they needed their eavesthroughs cleaned.

We (the workers) spent next several days walking from one house to another offering our services, making free cleaning estimates. After days of pilgrimage from one house to another, doing free cleaning estimates (which wasn't part of the agreement) we the workers finally asked Mark when was he thinking of paying us. Mark gave us some ridiculous lecture about the importance of 'future sales', took us back to Toronto, and nobody ever heard of him again. I wasted a week of my time, 2 000 kilometers riding like an idiot in a van, and walking from house to house doing my best and trying to clean and earn money as I was promised.

Conclusion:

This guy, Mark, and his wife Gladys, are SCAMMERS!!!

Stay away from them for you will not see a penny. Mark apparently has no idea what he is doing and he is trying to make money out of people desperately in need for some cash.

Please do not work for Gutter Force, and, I can't stress this enough, DO NOT hire Gutter Force to do any cleaning for your respective residence. You will just be financing a SCAMMER.
