H & R BLOCK SHELLEY HOTCHKISS I paid for, took and passed the tax course and never heard from the company again. ST. LOUIS Missouri

I registered from the internet to take the tax preparer's course from H & R Block.  I paid roughly $200 for the course in the winter of 2015.  The office location of the training offered was 5231 Delmar, St. Louis, MO 63112. Phone 314 361-5241.

Exams for the course are taken on a computer.  After the final exam, my computer displayed that I had passed the course. After finishing the course, and having a great desire to work for the company,  I received no contact from anyone in the company.  There was no contact from my instructor Sandra Latimore or the Area Supervisor Shelley Hotchkiss. After a couple months I contacted the office of Shelley Hotchkiss who gave me her business card personally. I contacted her office and left my name and number six times in the next few months and there was no response. 

I contacted my instructor Ms. Latimore and tried to get information about working for the company from her.  Ms. Latimore could give me no information whatsoever on if I could work for the company, who I could call regarding working, or how to get in touch with Ms. Hotchkiss.

I am extremely dissappointed that a national company would take the money of people and discard them as though the company is too big to answer to the average layman. 

I don't know what else to call it but a rip off if you advertise training so people can work for you, take their money, give them training, tell them they passed the training and then dissappear.
