On the 23 of April we purchased a Haier refrigerator at Ultimate Electronics. The fridge was delivered to our home on the 15 of May.

Even though it was not misused in any way at all, it stopped working on the 27th of July. We reported this issue on that same date.

We first contacted Ultimate Electronics. But it had already been more than 30 days since we had purchased it, and we didnt have the extended guarantee. So basically Ultimate Electronics eluded all responsibility on the issue.

We contacted Haier and they sent a technician to our home to inspect the fridge two days after we first reported the issue. The technician said that the fan was broken and that the part needed to be ordered. The parts estimated time of arrival was supposed to be from seven to ten days.

Today it is the 11th of August (15 days after we first reported the issue) and the fridge is still broken. Nothing has been done about it.

We have been calling Haier almost daily, but they have not even given us an estimate on when the fridge will be fixed.

As you can image, not having a working fridge for so many days has been (and still is) a huge inconvenience. Losing all of our food was also extremely upsetting. But this issue is also a financial problem since replacing all the food we had is going to cost us a lot of money.

This obvious lack of urgency on Haiers part makes the situation beyond frustrating. At this point we do not think that they are going to do anything about it, so we were wondering what our options are.
