HairKandy.biz, myvirginhair.net, Monique Grow offered me a deal on hair extensions, $200 deposit required. I paid her, and the she never gave me the hair despite hours spent tracking her down Boca Raton Florida

I answered an ad on Craigslist, beauty service for a reasonable sounding deal for hair extensions. The woman,  MONIQUE,  is still advertising on Craigslist and other websites, so BEWARE

I met Monique at a nice house, not far from my own home. She wanted $200 to buy 2 packets of hair my color (beige blonde) and then, when she had them, she would install them for another $125.  She said this was a special deal she was offering. She sounded reasonable, and so close to my house, it would be OK, easy. NOT THE WAY IT HAPPENED.

It was 5 months ago that I gave Monique $200, cash. The house where we met is owned by a woman who has a hair salon in the back, and she may not have been involved, but it was a great front, and I fell for it.   For the following months Monique avoided all my calls and then changed her phone number. etc. I went back to the nice house where I had given Monique the money, I got one message through the lady who owned the house  saying that Monique was busy with school. My patience wore out last week, after almost 6 months of being ignored,  when I called the lady who owned the house and demanded my $200. They were taking me as a fool, it seems.

This is what happened: Two days later: Monique, after keeping me waiting over 1 hour, shows up at my building and hands me 1 small dollar store quality packet of platinum white hair. WOW, COMPLETELY WRONG!!

When I stated that I would not accept this hair, and simply wanted my $200 back, Monique became aggressive and stood right up to my face and said, this hair is fine, and that she didn't like me or the lady who owns the house...go after her, she said.

OK...this is a warning to the public to stay away from Monique..HairKandy, and other names... and until she returns my $200,  I will keep posting these things.   She claims to be trained by Aveda.
