HALIFAX HOSPITAL EMERGENCY ROOM BILLING DEPT. Charge me privately for services they were suppose to charge my insurance then reported me to credit report co. DAYTONA BEACH, Florida

I took my son to the emergency room in Halifax Hospital. He was covered by FLORIDA HEALTHCARE insurance at this time. He had recieved medical care for an infection that visit. weeks later:
I recieved a letter demanding payment of $800.00 for services rendered on that day to my son.
Two times, I replied in writing please bill his insurance. I proceeded to call FHC and ask tem why they wouldn't pay the bill (per halifax) they stated the hospital never submitted the bill. I implored representative from FHC to fax them a request for bill on my son she did. I called to follow up the next day still no clear answer from The billing dept Halifax Hospital. FHC never recieved request either.
I recieved my credit report last night-- they actually reported me as nonpayment status.
I could not get them to help me and now they reported me.
