HandymanMatters Orion Services,Inc Where's the withholding in my first 2 paychecks? Simsbury, Connecticut

I have been working for this franchise for just over a month now. When I started I had to fill out a withholding form for the purpose of taking out the appropriate amount for taxes, social security etc.My first 2 paychecks revealed zero "0" was taken out. Owner said that they dont take any out until you've made enough....?    Secondly I have been told a pay raise of a dollar after 30 days. still waiting. The pay is good if you're lucky enough to get 30 + hrs. I have been avg. 10-12 hrs a week.Many of the jobs require a second trip. 50% of those jobs I have never been back to and I know he couldnot possibly have more workers. he cant even keep me busy. I seem to be working on his heels all the time. thus when it comes time for payday. guess what ? there is no cash flow. no paycheck. "check got screwed up in the mail box" ,"I will personally drop it off tomorow afternnoon"waiting, waiting and yes the famous one "the check is in the mail". When I first started he said the hours in the Winter would be minimal, now it was Memorial Day and hours will drop because the fourth of July is coming up also. Well I got news for you, the hours already suck! I have a daughter to put through college and a mortgage to pay among other expenses!    I dont need to be lied to about when I am going to get paid...hope this gives anyone out there some insight into this company and their tactics. I expect I wont be there for much longer after this post.
