Harbor Freight Tools ripoff gave my credit card number to a third party without permission Camarillo California

I ordered tools from Harbor Freight Tools and they asked if I wanted a free magazine subscription and said there was no catch to the offer. But they gave my credit card number to "Processing Center" in Salt Lake City without my knowledge or permission and they did put charges on my account for the magazine subscription.

I was irate and called Harbor Freight Tools. Customer service told me I would have to work it out with "Processing Center" because it was another company. The phone number for Processing Center only gives you an automated voice, all with unsatisfactory choices. More calls to Harbor Freight were of no help, they basically said they gave my credit card number (without my permission) to another company they have no control over.

Lesson; When they ask if you want to participate in any quotes, free merchandice, or offers from their "partners" quickly say "No" or "Hell no" or words to that effect.
