Harbor place Morgan Properties Ripp off denied rental application Fort Washington Maryland

Dear Sir or Madam,

I was under the assumption that my rental application was going to be approved. I had to pay a $45 dollar application and a $150 holding fee that would gurantee or hold the Apt I was interested in renting.  I paid out my pocket a total $195 that I had to pay for my appliction to be processed.  However, I applied July 5 and was told that someone from the leasing Dept will be giving me a call to give me my status and no one ever did.  I kept calling the office and finally after a 4 to 5 days I was told that my application was denied by someone in the leasing office.  I was told that i will be getting an email stating why.  I finally got an email the next day from company name Yandi who supposed had did a back ground check.  There finally result was that I have a circurt court charge which came from a Chapter 7 that was discharged 3 yearsago that included all my financel debt.  I currently have a good credit history with all my open accounts.  I am currenty renting from a rental properties as well that I've been living there for 3 years.  I been working for the Govt. for over 16 yrs and I make pretty good money to survive off of.  I cannot believe that a person who is credit worthy would be denied a place to live.  After being denide my credit score was hit hard which lower my score.  I have requested my holding fee and was told when i called back that my $150 ws going to be sent back to my credit card in 30 to 40 days and there will not be a refund for my application fee.  My intial plans where to move by the end of this month so i wouldnt have to sign a new lease at my place of resident.
