I bought a show B/S female puppy for $1500 with a puppy back first breeding from Marian Harding Hardinhaus Miniature Schnauzers located in Knoxville, TN. Marian Harding is a member of the American Miniature Schnauzer Club. As the puppy grew, I did not like her and asked Marian if I could send her back for a replacement. She agreed and promised to replace the puppy. She sent back $1300 and said she would keep $200 for a deposit for the new puppy that she was waiting for a couple of her girls to come in season.

Time went by and I emailed Marian about my puppy. She informed me that there was no puppy for me now or in the future and that my $200 deposit was nonrefundable which she never told me nor that I was limited to the two upcoming litters for replacement. I e-mailed her and asked about future litters and got no response. To this day a week later no response. Marian Harding promised me a puppy. That was what she kept the deposit for. Her words!! This from an AMSC member who is supposed to be ethical and above reproach. Everything their code of ethics are supposed to be against she did. Marian Harding is a liar a cheat and a theif and I have e-mails to prove it. Marian's ethics and integrity came pretty cheap for $200 wouldn't you say. Just because I didn't like her puppy. Internet fraud!!! Puppy fraud!! Are all AMSC members the same? Think about it before you purchase a puppy from an AMSC member. Are they like Marian Harding! Ready to rip you off like me.

Marian's handler is Wrong!

AUTHOR: Glojan - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, August 18, 2009

Marians handler is wrong!  There was no question that the dog could be shown and finished.  I told Marian that myself.  I told Marian she was not for me and she should be shown by someone who liked her type.  No one was happier for the dog than me when she finished.  She's a nice little dog and am glad she has produced a champion. Marian told me she would replace her and for me to sell her.  Which I did and then had to undo the deal when she changed her mind.  I don't think anyone should have to pay thousands and thousands of dollars showing a dog they don't like.  That to me is not the purpose of showing dogs. Anyone who is truly interested in the truth can have all correspondence that was sent to me straight from Marian.  You don't have to take my word for it.   I got her as a puppy and as soon as I got her,  I had to worm her.  I didn't call Marian and complain. When puppies are under stress from traveling going to a new owner changes in food, it happens.  I raised her up and as soon as she was old enough to strip I stripped her.  I planned to show her on her next coat and I wanted a tight wire coat not a trashy puppy coat.  I kept her in show condition.  Not too fat not too thin because I wanted her to have the best chance to win.  When her coat was blown and ready to strip, I knew she wasn't for me.  But I continued to care for her blown coat wash and condition her long furnishings 2 times a week so Marian would be able to get her out to show as soon as her new coat came in.  Caring for a blown coat and long furnishings is no small feat.  Ask any show person.   It is neglected to mention the dog was sent to a show to Marian's handler  She spent the long weekend at the shows and then traveled on to more shows before she went home to Marian's.  Any dog under stress drops weight quickly.  Keeping weight on is a common problem when showing.  Worming is routinely done also because the dogs are stressed and in contact with all sorts of ways to be infected plus they already harbor parasites.  What people will say to justify what they do.  Any dog breeder worth his salt knows that all dogs harbor parasites their whole entire lives.  If that wasn't so worming wouldn't start at 4 wks of age. They are infected before they are  born from their mom.   Dogs under no stress can remain status quo.  No one has to believe me, they can put parasites in dogs in their browser and go read for themselves.  Any one contemplating having a dog in their home needs to know about parasites anyway.  This dog was under stress from traveling to shows going to her new owner she wasn't able to remain status quo.  Dog shows are usually not held in glamous places.  They are held in open fields at fairgrounds in horse barns cow barns swine and sheep barns where dogs can become infected with just about anything.  A lot of times show dogs come home sick with viruses.  There is no way anyone can be responsible for parasites since they already live within the dog at birth.  Wormers only aid in control. Make sure if you plan on getting a dog you understand that.  That's why every time you go to the vets your asked to bring a stool sample. Dogs pick up things in their own backyards.   Next, I'll be accused of global warming world hunger and the deficit.  Stay tuned.

No right to complain!

I can't believe how indignant GloJan is, considering she might be the queen of the rip-off world.

She was very good at spotting two eager parents-to-be and ridding herself of two emotionally crippled dogs. There should be a restraining order against her to ever go near an animal again!

Glojan is not correct in Calling Marian Harding a rip off

AUTHOR: Kurt Garmaker - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, March 05, 2009

I am Marian Harding's handler and I picked up the dog mentioned by Glojan at a show in Ohio, to transport back to Marian. First, the dog was skinny and in poor condition and appeared to be full of parasites from her stay with Gloria Janes. In fact, I wormed this female, with Drontal Plus, and stripped her, admiring her structure. I showed this female, Ch . Hardinhaus Glojan Pink Pepper.. to her AKC title which she gained easily!. Further, she has since been bred and has produced already one AKC Champion son. I know for certain that Marian spent two months trying to rid this miniature schnauzer of parasites, after returning from Glojan and as far as I am concerned not only was Gloria sold a show quality dog, evidenced by her gaining her title in short order, but, solid dog with a solid pedigree, judging from her production record . As far as I am concerned She is owed nothing and Gloria should remove this report immediately.

Looks like Glojan got some of her own medicine, hard to swallow isnt it?

AUTHOR: Tammy - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, August 15, 2007

I have had many telephone conversations with "glojan" and I heard her speech about breeder ethics and how she would never be like some of the people in show and breeding circles that rip people off......

WELL LOW AND BEHOLD she ripped me off and now she dares to complain about another breeder?.....thats pretty bold if you ask me. I still have yet to get the replacement puppy she VERBALY promised me on the telephone over a year ago!

So much for a persons word being worth anything. I guess I call this KARMA, what goes around comes around. I am VERY proud of the fact that I do not fall into the bad ethics that glojan does...how very sad, a persons word holds no value.....such a cheap cheap personal attitude I guess deserves what they get.
