While following a link on some college students' pages, I happened upon this site. (I am a college advisor to some student groups and wanted to know what they were posting.) To get in, one has to give a credit card # "forage verification" to view pages. They advertised a one week "free trial," so I gave the #. Once into the disgusting site, I immediately cancelled the "free" trial membership. Within the month, however, I received a VISA bill for $29.99.
When I first contacted the company via email I got this response:
>In order for us to properly process your request, please provide us
with the following information:
> Full Name:
> Username:
> Password:
> First twelve digits of Card#:
>
> Upon receipt of this information, we will promptly process your
request.
> Tech Support
> JR
After I did this, Nothing was done. I wrote more emails to which
they responded they would cancel my membership at the end of their membership period, but would not reimburse my money. I called the company and basically got a snide, "Too bad."
I wanted to inform the Better Business Bureau but was unable to get any real company name or address. All I have as info is the internet address.
They should be thrown off the Internet and prosecuted!

False Report

First off you signed up for a porn site. You should have cancled your "trial" account within the first three days.
Do you realize how many people sign up for adult websites and then want their money back or issue a chargback? Can you blame them? You signed up for an adult wesite and then wanted to cancel and or get your money back.
get real.
Granted they have been taken off the internet.
which is a seperate issue. However I figure I would give you that.
sorry, allowing you to give a competitors name would instigate others to just file against their competition, to only come back later to suggest their company your comments on this policy are welcome!
