Me and my wife went looking for a new-to-us used vehicle. We went from dealership to dealership and didn't see any that we liked until going to Harold Zeigler on stadium drive. We found a 2006 Outlander that she fell in love with. It was getting late and the salesman asked- what it would for me to purchase the car today. I wrote down a price that i felt was fair and that the paint be touched up professionally in a couple of places and a front wheel alignment. He looked and agreed and said lets do it. We started signing papers and the very last paper i noticed that the price had changed again. I asked him about it and he said "it must of been a miscommunication" i said ok, whatever it's a $800 difference and i had to be at work 9am the next morning, i wanted things to be done.. So after things were signed and after i told him that i was pre-approved with my local credit union. He told me we are direct with them we can take care of everything and go from there. I said thats fine as well. After talking to my credit union the price they told her was not the correct out-the-door price. Not only that but they continued to run mine and my wifes credit several times at different placed. (both of our credit scores took a hit after this). Once I went the the credit union and got the check for the amount we "kind of" agree to, i took the check to Zeigler and finished everything up. We agreed on the following monday I would bring it back for the front wheel alignment and paint touch up to be done...we drove the car on the temp plate they gave us. When i brought the car in i dropped it off with them all day. we came back 6 hours later and they told me that the front wheel alignment was done but the paint guy doesn't come in until tomorrow. So we took the car back and said we will figure out when we can take the day off and get it to you on a tuesday. after a few days, i looked at the temp plate in the back window and it had expired. I called them and told them this (on a tuesday) and they said well whats the next day you have off, i told them the following monday. they told me to come in monday and they will give me another temp. So my wife was without her new vehicle or any vehicle at all for another week. when i got there they told me they forgot to have me sign the title. to get the plate coming. and they didn't see that the big problem was, I quote "most people just keep driving on the expired plate when it runs out" I told him last time i checked that was illegal. After telling him this entire story he said "We apologize, have a good day"
I told him i would not recommend any one here for anything. Please dont give them any more business.

Harold Zeigler proves us wrong

Our experience with Harold Zeigler started out rocky. We were not given the customer service that is deserved when buying a car. I must say though, Zeigler has proved us wrong. It took writing this "bad" report to shed some light on our situation. We received calls upon calls from the General Manager Brooks and the Sales Manager Mike. They were kind, courteous and listened to our problems. They worked with our schedules and even gave us a rental car while our car was being worked on. They did everything they could to make this right and corrected every issue that was at hand.
