Just sharing this information because countless people are misled in purchasing a car from them without hearing all the hard core facts. Did you know that you would need to pay for up keep on a car based on yrs of ownership or miles used on a car? In order for you to keep your tires for life you would have to have services rendered by Harrisburg Hyundai on your car. Prices for check ups and maintenance are rediculous. If I were that dealership I would give tires for free for all the additional maintenance charges you have to pay to keep your warrantee and your tires for life program. Ask them for the chart for maintenance upkeep. for ex: 30,000 and 90,000 miles you would have to pay 409.95 for maintenance. 60,000 and 120,000 miles prices range from 409.95 to 459.95 depending on the car you have. 15,000 miles 169.95 and 7,500 miles 69.96.. so lets add this all together..
7,500 miles 69.96
15,000 miles 169.95
30,000 miles 409.95
60,000 miles 409.95
90,000 miles 409.95
120,000 miles 409.95

How much more would you like to spend on your car? They do not have a warrantee manual to tell you whats covered. Go to any dealership. They should be as informative as GM website. I am not sure if GM is any better but they at least tell whats covered under the warrantee. They can only tell you by mouth but not written down.

They are the most pushiest people when it comes to sales and they will waste your time if you allow them to.. So be careful.

With love,

Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania

First of all, they are in the business of selling cars.  I bought my car from them last year, and yes, they were pushy, but they weren't any pushier than any of the other car dealerships I've dealt with.  If you buy a new car anywhere, you're required to keep up with the regularly scheduled maintenance in order to not void the warrenty.  It's not going to be any cheaper if you buy a Honda (for example) and have to have your maintance done there.  The only difference there is that the warranties other dealerships offer aren't even close to 200,000 miles.  Of course Harrisburg Hyundai will require you to go to a Hyundai dealership for service because who knows what Joe's Garage down the street is going to do to screw up your car if you take it there.  At least if you're taking it to the dealership and something goes wrong, there won't be drama because Joe Schmoe screwed something up and now you expect Harrisburg Hyundai to cover it under warranty.  And by the way, you can take your car to ANY Hyundai dealership for service/repair, not JUST Harrisburg Hyundai, and it will not void your warranty.  So, if you're taking it to Hyundai for service anyway as to not void the warranty, the free tires really are a nice bonus.  Yes, you still have to pay for for the mounting and balancing, but it's still a heck of a lot cheaper than having to buy a whole new set of tires elsewhere.  Also, if you read any of the paperwork you signed when you bought your car, you would know that the 200,000 mile warranty they give you is not bumper-to-bumper.  (When I bought mine, they verbally told me, as well.)  It's for the powertrain which is the engine and transmission.  Again, if you have all of your oil changes done there (which really isn't much more expensive than if you take it to some other places once you use that punch-card thing they have), they know that the car was properly maintained, so if you do have engine problems, they can't say you went too many miles between oil changes.  Bottom line, yes, they are making money, but that's the goal of any business.  You as a consumer need to do your homework before jumping into buying a new car, whether it's at Harrisburg Hyundai or McGuire's Ford or Faulkner Honda or wherever!
