Complaint Review: Hart City Executives
Hart City Executives Before accepting an interview with Hart City Executives Inc MUST READ! Internet
*UPDATE EX-employee responds: HR Department
I walked into this interview with an I'm the interviewer mind set. I arrived fifteen minutes early. I signed in and waited in the lobby for a few minutes. I met ONE of the mangers(almost everyone is a manager) and was escorted to the company's conference room. I was in the conference room alone for a another few minutes before the manger began the interview. In that time I a observed the room which was another red flag. The chairs were not properly placed along the table. The table was extremely dirty. There was dust everywhere and the intercom in the middle of the table looked like it was made from the 1980's. The Manager came in and asked a few questions , I put on a big smile and made eye contact in the whole duration of the interview. A couples hours after my interview I received a call for a second interview. Something in the back of my mind was nagging me. Something is a little off, but I was curious and still kept an open mind. I accepted.
For the second interview , You spend the whole day with one of the executives to get a sense of what the job is. Basically you are given a territory and you go door to door , selling a product to commercial areas. When the day is over , you have a third interview , which consists of your feedback and further questions you may have. Followed by , we will call you tomorrow at a certain time. Now, as the day progressed a lot of red flags popped up.
1.You must use your own car and you are not compensated for the gas.
2. After four weeks you are moved up to the next level , in a matter of months you are moved all the way up to an assistant manger then to a manager. Sounds very much like a pyramid scheme doesn't it ? Although they completely denied it because you don't have to pay an entry fee and they do charity work.
3.They do not have business cards. Almost every business owner we talked to that day, asked for a business card and the response was we don't have one. We will contact you.
4. I was told that you spend 20% of the time in the office and 80% of time outside of the office. They showed me the 80% and not the 20% . Pretty much not allowed anywhere but the lobby.
When the day was over I went home and spent the night thinking about my experience . If I was offered the job would I take it? I went on the internet in hopes to find a review of this company and it was not good. In fact there are hundreds of these types of companies all over the country and they all have bad reviews. Some people call them cults. Cydcors and Pyramid schemes. I've read complaints from people who went in for interviews . Complaints from customers and ex-employees . I also found Happy employees defending their companies and they were extremely nasty and unprofessional about it . All the employees who defend their companies all say we are not a cult. We are not a pyramid scheme. Do your research and screaming profanity. Some of these companies change their names multiple times because they get such bad press.
Then I found a review on a company in P.A . It mentioned it's website's about page. As I was reading, it
all sounded too familiar and I realized all these companies say the same thing . specializes in customer retention and acquisition, leadership and strategic consultation, and the coaching and development of employees into industry professionals. Our client acquisition team focuses on providing the most comprehensive client relationship management. is excited to partner with both Fortune 500 and Fortune 100 companies. Direct marketing provides a more personalized connection between our clients and their customers. Indirect marketing (Telemarketing, Television ads, Billboards, etc.) They all say they are a new companies and growing fast and need more employees.
After learning this , I instantly made my decision. I was not going to take this job. I told them I'm not interested and they said they will put my resume on file and if anything comes up they will contact me. I should have told them to throw my resume in the garbage.
