Hartford Auto Club aka American Financial Savings aka American Premier aka Rome Communications cleaned out my checking account! They are a BIG TIME ripoff! I have been given the run around and had to close my bank account, but my bank is doing a fraud investigation ....

I was contacted by phone and offered a "line of credit" with an "American Premier" card. They took all my information, including my checking acct # for a
"processing fee" payable up front. Within the HOUR I had changed my mind and called them back to cancel the whole thing.

They were really rude and refused to cancel. I asked for their corporate address and was denied. I asked for a customer service number and was denied. I spoke to six different people and each one said "Too Bad" "Too Late" "You can't stop this" The next day, all the money in my checking account was removed by "Preauthorized payment".

I tried calling them again and was told they were
"American Financial Savings" this time. No Luck getting anywhere with them. A week later I get a letter in the mail from "Hartford Auto Club" thanking me for signing up! BUT I never signed up for this Auto Club!

I recognized the address as the same one American Premier, aka American Financial Savings had given me. They had never once mentioned anything about an Auto Club! I closed my checking account and the Bank is doing a fraud investigation for me. The local news "consumer advocate" did a story about me also, to warn others.

It looks like both Capital Choice Consumer Credit, and Hartford Auto Club are being run by the same people.

If you are a victim of either Capital Choice Consumer Credit OR Hartford Auto Club, try calling the above numbers repeatedly with your refund requests. If you do, you may get a refund, but if not, the inconvenience you will be causing them will force them to relocate or shut down all together.
