Hartford Auto Club & Roan Communications Ripped Me Off Too!! Roan Communications lied to me as well Miami Florida

I wasn't surprised when I found this website after being ripped off by Hartford Auto Club. Essentially, Roan Communications told me that I spoke to someone in August 2001 and I agreed to participate in the 15-day trial period. There after, if I do not call in I would be automatically charged.

First of all, I never even heard of them until I received a pamphlet stating that my membership would be renewed. When I called the number in the pamphlet, it turns out to be Roan Communications, which is the out-sourced customer service rep company for Hartford. After a little digging at the BBB, I found out that Hartford Auto Club and Roan Communications is under a company called Capitol Choice Consumer Credit, and they are being investigated for fraudulent activities.

Now, I agree with the others that filed a complaint here against Hartford. How did they get my account info without me giving it to them? Who authorized them to charge my account when I never spoke to them? Who are they? Why can't they give me a refund for something I did not authorize to charge?

Due to their fraudulent activities, I advise everyone to change their account numbers so this doesn't happen again. Roan Communications gave me an address: 666 (how appropriate) NW 125th St., Suite 246, North Miami, FL 33161 stating that this was the address for Hartford Auto Club complaints and disputes, and it turns out that this is the address to Roan Communications. It goes on in circles. They won't refund you the $99.00, but they will cancel it for you. It's ridiculous. It is obviously a scam. They have bad crooked people that somehow obtain our private info and charge us for something we never authorized in the first place.

I am calling out all consumers who have been ripped off by Hartford and bring our own class action lawsuit against them. There is a lawsuit currently pending against them, and I want to either join in or start another one. Pissed off consumer tired of getting ripped off!
