Any clients that have been required to pay an "upfront fee" to any loan modification business in Orange County, CA should realize that the company is breaking the law according to Calif Senate Bill 94 and Calif Civil Code 2944.7, which prohibits loan modification company's from this practice until they have completed all contracted work on your loan modification. File a Real Estate Fraud Report with the Office of the District Attorney, Orange County, CA, Real Estate Fraud Unit, 5th Floor, PO Box 808, Santa Ana, CA 92701 (714) 834-3600 if you have been victimized by this illegal action.
