We were very excited to take our trip to Hawaii. Ticket prices were great, we then call Custom Service (On Line Reservation) to ask them a simple question "My Child is under 2 yrs of age while flying there and will turn 2 while in Hawaii What do we do?? ------- Her Answer " Go ahead and book your flight, after it's booked call Reservations and they can give you a children airfare discount Reservation at a discounted fee for the return flight" So I say great, I hang up buy our tickets online (Big Mistake) and call Reservations back and I explain about my son and said I would like to buy a children discounted airfare ticket, I'm then told that there is no children airfare and that I need to buy an adult fare, I said the other Hawaiian airlines Representative said there was discounted fare! I then said well that sucks that your co worker told me that and she agreed, So frustrated I asked how much for the ticket for my son and she told me $395.00 + fee's I said Its cheaper to buy it online ($379.00) and she said then maybe you should buy the ticket and call us back. So here I am left to buy a ticket that cost just as much as a round trip ticket!! I am so upset because we have been saving all year for this trip for a very special occasion!if I would of been told upfront that I would have to buy an adult one way ticket for the flight back, I could of and would of done more research instead of being stuck paying that much!! Here is the bottom line we were so excited going to Hawaii, my 1st experience having to deal with Hawaiian Airlines has started our trip off with a bad taste in my mouth! Very Very unhappy about the misinformation given to me by a Hawaiian Airlines Representative!
