Hayfeild Dental Care ripoff, and my teeth are ruined! Alexandria Virginia

I went to these "Dentist", for five yr's now, thought they were pretty good, overlooked a lot of mistakes because I could not belive that they would be liesenced in the state of Virgina! (Dumb me.)

Three yr's ago I had a tooth pulled and two days later I was in horrible pain with another tooth that was and told three times it was fine, many x--rays too. Dr. Glasglow assured me that he couldn't find anything wrong. It finally stopped hurting me two weeks later, after not being able to eat anything, and this was during my only vacation that I had planned all yr.

When I got back from my vacation it was not hurting so I trusted the fine dentist. A couple of months later I noticed that the tooth felt now dead, and turning black. Made another appointment for another problem and pointed out the black tooth and he x-rayed it again and said he didn't think there was anything to Worry about!!!

A yr. later made another appointment for another problem and happened to mention how dead the tooth was, but it didn't hurt anymore, just was chiping away from deadness. This time he told me it needed a root canal, well not having any dental insurance I decided to have it pulled, along with another tooth that was decayed beyond help that was also told to me it was healthy.


After proclaiming that I needed a panoramic, a very very expensive x-ray for mind you just for five teeth I now had left in my whole mouth at this point!...One hundred and eighty dollars!..Went back a week later and he recommended another Dentist to pull three of them, cause two of them were in great shape!This was in May of 06.

Had the teeth pulled, recovered, but by the end of June I noticed two more cavities in the only two teeth I had left in my mouth, and wouldn't have minded getting rid of those either as what good two teeth are going to do at this point?..Went back in Aug. and yes by gosh I did have a small cavity, and he'd fix it right then. Twenty shots of novicain later it was filled and I went home a happy women, teeth done now I can smile again, just cost three- hundred and forty three dollars!..One small cavity. I was not expecting it to be so expensive for one small cavity, so I explained that to his bookeeper, and told her I would make payments. that was fine since I never owned them a dime in the five yr's he was killing off all my teeth.

Two weeks later I noticed pain when I ate anything hot or cold and could not stand air going in and out of my mouth..noticed the cavity fell out, so I made another appointment, for twelve-thirty, they give me that time mind you, not me.

Dr. Glasglow did not seem as freindly this time and seemed insulted that I had a nerve complaing about my tooth. He gave me his usal overdose of novicane and left the room to check another paitent.came back blew so air in the tooth, and said he had to give me more novicane. He left the room once again for a few minutes, this time complaining it was lunch time, and since the last shot didn't seem to be working..he didn't really wait that long I thought, and it was not my fault it was lunch time, he told me he did not have the time to fix it!.

The novicain was working at this point when I went to the desk to make another appointment and to make a payment, I was told I could not make another appointment till I paid him in full!

I feel he should make everthing right with the tooth that is almost paid for, since now I have a black and sensitive tooth once again. I am afraid to see him again, because I don't feel he knows what he is doing, and now I am without money, that is all the money I have spent since May 06..about three-thousand dollars and am still in pain!

Please anyone who reads this head my words, these men are not Dentists, and if you value your teeth, and you don't have a lot of money do not make an appointment with this office!
