Health Care Credit Union Associates Customer Service told me a procedure was covered, now they claim it's not Boca Rotan Florida

I signed up for this companies "Complete Choice Enhanced 6600 Single" plan to begin November 1, 2008.

I had until November 15th to cancel the policy, on November 13th I called to verify that they did in fact cover a Sleep Study of which I was waiting for a cold to end before going to the doctor where I expected him to recommend that I have the sleep study done.

I was told by their representative that the Sleep study was covered. I based my decission NOT to cancel their policy and ask for a full refund based on this call.

Now on December 16th I finally get over the cold and have the time to go to the Doctor to be checked over. As I expected he wants to schedule me for the Sleep Study.

On December 17th I call to find out how much these people cover of the sleep study so that I can determine how much of the $1800 study I am going to have to pay. I am informed that Sleep studies are NOT covered under this plan.

I try to explain that in November I called and was told it was covered. Now the company has no record of my call in November. I now ask for a full refund of the money I paid for November and again for December since I was lied to when I called in November.

I am told my only option at this point is to cancel my policy and lose the almost $700 that I have paid to these people. But to make matters worse, now when I do get onto a legitimate insurance plan I now have a "pre-existing" clause that will exclude me from being treated or even tested for Sleep Apnea.

Since this company has done to me should be Criminal, and since the consequenses of untreated Sleep Apnea is potential Heart Attack, Stroke and/or DEATH the criminal charges should be Attempted Murder or if I do in fact die from this then Murder!

I have my Cell phone records to prove a 6 minute call to their 866 number placed on November 13th. Not being a member of the paranoid (They are all out to get me croud) I of course do not have a recording of this conversation so I cannot of course prove that I specifically asked about the Sleep Study, but I would hope that a criminal jury would accept that the call, and my statement pre-death as to the content of this call would represent enough proof to convict.

I pray to God I find some way to pay for this sleep study and treatment before I do in fact die from it, but rest assured if i do die before finding treatment my kids will have proof to sue this company for my wrongful death!

I hope by reading this I can prevent others from falling for this companies scam.
