The TV commercial advertised buy one get one free and said if within 90 day if dissatisfied, return the two induction units and keep the two sets of cookware.  We have three children, so we ordered two plus two free, but received only two sets of cookware, should have been four.  They also said how portable the units were and suitable for dorm rooms, and showed carrying cases for portability.  No cases either.  The second rep-off was with the return of units money would be refunded less the shipping and handling.  Those charges were far more than the original charges.  When referred to BBB they responded we had received all we ordered.  NO COOKWARE!  NO CARRYING CASES!  But, if we wanted the items we could place a new order and be charged for them.

Can you spell RIP OFF? Same number of letters as CROOKED

There was no mention of additional charges for the cookware.  That comes under the heading of deceptive or lying, add crooked.  If you had been honest you would have told me of the additional charges, you would also advised that the shipping and handling was more than the cost of the induction units.  If you had been honest, you would have shipped the four sets of cookware with the units.

AUTHOR: Hearthware Becky - (United States of America)

POSTED: Thursday, September 13, 2012

My name is Becky and I am the Social Media Marketing Manager at Hearthware, producers of the NuWave PIC. I am sorry you are disappointed with your order. I would like to clarify that the PIC Carrying Cases are not free bonus items with the offer. They carry a charge of $20 plus shipping and processing. As you suggest, they are great for toting your cooktops anywhere: http://www.nuwavepic.com/part/products_carrying_case.asp?web_idx=

I apologize if the sales agent you spoke with did not make this clear. Also, as your complaint states, four sets of cookware would only have been sent if you agreed to the $69.95 in shipping and processing charges for each set. As you know, these packages are valued at over $200 but are yours free for just the shipping. I trust since you have two sets already, you are finding them to be top-quality. Once again, I apologize of this was not made clear to you throughout your ordering process.
