Heartland America wrecked my Christmas gift plans! Chaska Minnesota

11-26-08: I receive a confirmation for order # 17769490 via email which was to cost $417.39. It's still November and the bulk of my Christmas shopping was doneor so I thought.

12-12-08: I get the following email:
Dear Customer:
Sorry! The item(s) you ordered on 11/26/08 have been delayed. Your order information and expected date of shipment are indicated below. The item(s) will be shipped to you as soon as we receive them. Please feel free to reply to this email if you need further assistance or email us at info@heartlandamerica.com.
Order Number: 17769490 Customer#: 6401528

12-16-08: I send an email inquiring if I will get my order in time for Christmas.

12-19-08: I receive the following email from somebody named Sylvia Browne:
I checked your account and found that your order was on hold to verify your shipping information. We left a message regarding the problem. Unfortunately, since we did not receive a response, your order was canceled on 12/18/08'.

At no time was there any mention of any shipping verification in the email sent on 12/12. All it said was that the items were delayed. How convenient to cancel my order one day before I inquire about the status. I told this woman that I gave them my home address, shipping address, and telephone number. I never received a single letter or message, yet they keep insisting they tried to contact me which only infuriates me more because it's just not true!
I have the emails to prove how this whole mess evolved. This is a fair warning to all who risk dealing with this company. You may get your stuffor not. As for me, I've told all my friends and anybody else who will listen about this company. I will never deal with them ever again!
