Heidelberg German Shepherds Do not stand behind their dogs, ridiculous contracts Spring Texas

I bought a dog from them. BEWARE! The dog had crippling elbow dysplasia at only 15 months old! HE could not get up in the morning!

I called to tell Gene Thompson, the breeder, and he told me it was because I did not buy dog food from him and feed his food. What a bunch of bunk. Everyone knows that elbow dysplasia is an inherited disease!

He told me he would not replace the dog and if I called him again he'd sue me for telephone harrassment. I was not in any way harrassing on the phone, I was at work, and frankly, quite professional.

These people have a lovely kennel, but too many dogs, in my opinion to properly take care of them.

Don't let the environment fool you. And read the contract thoroughly. There are much better breeders in Texas. Stay away from these guys.
