Heights Property Mannagement LLC Scot Carter Ripped off homeowners while working as Homeowners Association Mansgement Missouri City, Texas

Scot Carter along with his friend Roderick Garner and lawyer Chip Smith came to our community in the fall of 2011 announcing that they wanted to help the community which was really run down and not being managed well by the President of the HOA.

They said they grew up in the community and wanted to help get it cleaned up. Roderick wanted to be the HOA president and convinced several community members to go out and solicit votes for him and also pick up proxies. Once he was in office, he rushed the board into signing a contract with Scot Carter as Heights Management Company LLC to manage the community at a fee of $7600 a month. The contract was not up to industry standards and had a clause th at if he was fired we had to pay him the remainder of the contract. He in turn hired Chip Smith to handle deliquent accountsand then he started to convince homeowners who were behind in their payments to sell the properties. His sister Traci Carter Garner wo is a realtor anf has several alias names is helping Scot to close on some of the properties he has purchased. Scot had no management liscense or training, and has literally messed up. The community records and files that we have to hire an auditor to try and st aighten out his mess. Meanwhile we fired him and his friend filed a lawsuit against the comunity , we went through mediation and had to give him a one year. contract.and his friend had to remain President of the board for one year. Or we would fa ce a lawsuit sueing the community. These guys had this all planned out before approaching the community. If any one has any information that could help our community please post it.
