I want everyone to be aware of how I was treated by this company. I was trying to save money in selling my home which was my grandfathers who had passed away and there was debit to clear up. I called help u sell. the "realtor" i wouldn't call him that came out I explained my situation and showed him the information from my attorney.

He didn't really understand it but said that was fine. What did I get for my $2450 nothing. First he quoted me $2150.00 to list my house then when it came time to sign the contract it was $2450 an easy $300 more him. When I questioned this I was told it was because I am asking more for my home then we had originally talked about. YEA a whole $3000.00 more big difference NO!

I did alot of work to this house it was older not new. I held my own open houses that was fine. I have never met anyone more unprofessional then this guy. between the foul language or his demands i don't know which was worse. the closing was the worst I had to get all the information my self including my own payoff 30 minutes before the close! Bottom line he wanted his commision no matter what the cost to me.

DO NOT USE THEM IT IS NOT WORTH IT!! RIP OFF!! SCAM!! I would love to have my money back they did not earn any of it.

Bill, you are mistaken

AUTHOR: Deana - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, August 15, 2006

Sorry I forgot to add a response to Bill's response...

Bill Help-U-Sell Real Estate Agents are more than just license holders....

They are also members of the National Association of REALTORS?.
At least in Las Vegas, Nevada they are.

I'm An Agent Who Is Switching To Help-U-Sell

AUTHOR: Deana - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, August 15, 2006

Diana,
I am a Real Estate Agent in Las Vegas, Nevada. After seeing people pay WAY too much in commissions, (it is not always true that you get what you pay for!), I decided to sign on with Help-U-Sell....my dilemma is making the choice between the fine offices operating here is Las Vegas...

I did tons of research, and could not find anyone who is unhappy with the service they have received through Help-U-Sell, to the contrary, every one I talked with said they will use this company again, and recommend it to others.

Philip is right about one bad apple....do not let this one sour your opinion of the entire company.....go through the complaint channels he offered you and try to get some satisfaction.....it is unfortunate that your experience was so frustrating. I am sorry you had to go through it, just as Philip also said.

help u sell remarks

AUTHOR: Matthew - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Monday, August 14, 2006

As with all companies there are good and bad ones. Each one is different.

The market here in my area of Florida is so flodded with homes for sale that realtors think that they can tell you what to do and how much to sell your house for. If anyone does this run dont walk to the door.

I went thru 2 realtors with great reoputations and high profile companies and they did nothing for me and did even less in the way of marketing my home. They are supposed to be salespeople not wait for someone to call who is looking for a house people. No one here has any backbone and wont go the extra mile to find you a buyer for your home.

So now I am trying the discount brokers and they have told me what they do and don't do and I know what to expect. Now if I get more than I expect I will be very happy. As for selling my house myself I have tried but I do not have the time or patients to do this. I was a realtor for many years up north and dont want that aggrivation again.

So wish me good luck and hopefully I will have a sale on my home in Deltona fl :)

Limited Fee - Limited Service

AUTHOR: Skip - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, September 14, 2005

There is a big proliferation of these "discount" real estate companies everywhere. Their big pitch is "we save you money".And the question you must ask and research is; Do they?

The fixed fee only applies if someone from the discount company sells the property or you sell it yourself. If you want exposure to all of the buyers who are working with all of the real estate agents in your area through the Multiple Listing Service, you have to offer a competitive co-broke to the selling agent over and above the fixed fee. If you want the full service that a traditional real estate firm offers, there is a charge.

The biggest negative is in pricing your home. As a generality, these firms suggest a listing price that is below the neighborhood competitive pricing to effect a quick sale. I saw it in my own neighborhood. An elderly neighbor listed with one of these firms and sold for $294000, paid $3995 and netted about $290000. The problem is that he could have sold for $315000 to $320000, paid a 5% commission to a full service firm and netted about $300000. Rather than saving $10000, he gave away $10000 of his own equity.

You really have to know the market if you want to maximize the return on your house sale.

#3 Consumer Suggestion

You get what you pay for.

AUTHOR: Bill - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, September 13, 2005

I don't feel sorry for anyone who cuts corners with anything. Like the old saying goes, You get what you pay for. This is so true. If you want a good reputable "Realtor" that has to abide by higher standards than a typical licensed agent, go with a well established brand name real estate company. They may charge more, but they also have the financial and legal backing to get you out of trouble if something goes wrong with your transaction. They can also protect your best interests, with a well trained Realtor that knows the business inside and out.

If an agent wasn't successful in a big real estate company, and had to go to one of these discount firms, it is probably because they couldn't sell, people didn't trust them, or something. These companies have no real value, in my opinion, so they "sell" you on saving money, and that's all they can offer. In the long run, it could cost you MUCH more if your agent made a grave error, and you were suddenly left homeless... You can laugh, but it DOES happen from time to time.... The money you tried to save is now tied up in legal expenses, and your costs trying to pay rent and storage until you can find a new place. I KNOW, because it happened to me.....

Believe it.

Sorry, Help U Sell foreseeable success will critically depends on its agents, who needs to make EVERY customer a client for lifetime

AUTHOR: Philip - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, September 28, 2004

Diana, I am truly sorry to hear about your unprofessional dealings with a Help U Sell agent. I assure you this is rare. Just like any franchise there are universally some deplorable ones, that ruins it for everyone else. I suggest you write/call the broker and if no remedy is achieved I strongly recommend you call/mail the corporate office. There contact info is; 900 W. Castleton Rd. #230 Castle Rock, CO 80109 Phone: (303) 814-1400 Fax: (303) 814-3400. Trust me they will listen.

Help U Sell foreseeable success will critically depends on its agents, who needs to make EVERY customer a client for lifetime. That means saving clients a ton of money and making it a smooth transaction.

About Help U Sell (in a nut shell)
I work as an Operations Manager in a small Help U Sell office in California. Our true devotion is to our clients. Our cell phones are on 24/7 for all our clients needs. We truly save people tons of money. The future of Real Estate industry is shifting due to various reasons such as the internet, but mainly because of smart sellers such as yourself, who could sell by yourself and don't need to pay 6% commission.. Last week we saved a client app $17,000, needless to say they were shocked. When you really think about, it is a new car.

We are a full service broker, just like Prudential, C21 etc; expect we don't do 2 things. 1. Hold open house, (who knows your home better than you do?) 2. Let the termite guys, potential buyers, & inspector in. For a small fee we will do everything.

Diana say you wanted to sell home for 250K, the Help U Sell set fee is $2,450, traditional brokers fee of 6% = $15,000 you saved $12,550.

I know no amount of money will compensates for the headache this transaction has caused. Please keep in mind what happened to you is odd. In no means am I justifying for the agent's action but Real Estate transaction is complicated hard process, involving many people, so there is an enormous tendency for error. I honestly hope you give us another chance to make everything right.

You've Got To Be Kidding, Get off your but and help yourself

AUTHOR: Berch - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Sunday, September 26, 2004

You've got to be kidding. You used a reduced fee broker that clearly tells you there are some things you have to do yourself. The Realtor does not owe a mortgage on the home. Get off your but and help yourself to get YOUR deal closed!!! The fact of the matter is you sold your home and saved money. If you know so much about real estate, get a license and sell houses yourself!!!!!
