Over a period of one year, HEP Direct scammed my business of more than $30,000. Keith Hewitt a.k.a Dwayne Hewitt likes to refer to this as an "unfortunate business dispute". There is no "dispute". A crime was commited. He billed me in advance for shipments he never intended to pick up from the manufacturer much less deliver. He cashed those advance checks and has been making excuses for 6 months as to when he will pay me back.
It is a documented fact the business is having financial troubles and rumor is they are about to close. In January of 2012, Keith formed two new corporations called DKH Logistics and DKH Ventures. He listed himself as Dwayne Hewitt CEO. Now he's decided to go by Dwayne instead of Keith. In my "opinion" HEP Direct is headed for bankruptcy and expecting a fresh start as DKH Logistics.
Don't allow yourself to be taken like I was. ALWAYS conduct an intensive criminal background check before putting your trust and money into the hands of any CEO. I learned the hard way.

You are hilarious Keith. You haven't prevailed over ANYTHING. Once again, you are attempting to mislead. We served papers on "you" when they should have been served on your registered agent, Mickey Pope. Trust me, Mickey Pope will be served and the small claim case will be heard by a judge in your presence.
I will continue to fle small claims against your company ($5,000 per claim) until you have paid back the $30,000 you scammed.
The total number of lawsuits being filed against your company is SIX!

Again, the Sheriff served the papers incorrectly. So, no, HEP Direct did not prevail at anything. They were served against you when they should have been served against the registered agent of HEP direct who is Mickey Pope. The case you are referring to was a small claim in the amount of $5000 which is only a small portion of the $30,000 you owe me.

You are hilarious Keith. Your attorney's answer to the complaint was "we served the wrong person". The registered agent for your company is Mickey Pope, whom we had never heard of. You haven't prevailed over anything. Your credit report shows the case is still pending. Trust me, Mickey Pope will be served and the case will be heard by a judge.
To others reading this post, don't fall prey like me. Don't allow HEP to weasel out of paying your claims. You can go directly to their Cargo Insurance Provider and file your claims with them. Hanover Insurance. Policy #RHR8887691 and their phone # is 508-853-7200.

I INCORRECTLY titled my complaint "criminal and civil charges PENDING" - There are NO charges of any type "PENDING" against Mr. Hewitt or HEP Direct as far as my own complaint. My actual LAWSUITS against him have been initiated and are PENDING court dates. My intent is not to slander Mr. Hewitt but to tell the truth and the impact his actions have had on me and my family so that others take caution when dealing with him and his businesses. I do want to publicly apologize again to MR Hewitt for using the wrong words in my complaint. It's in the courts hands now to bring everything to closure.
AGAIN, I SINCERELY APOLOGIZE FOR USING THE WRONG WORDS IN MY COMPLAINT. THERE ARE NO CRIMINAL OR CIVIL CHARGES AT THIS TIME AS FAR AS MY LAWSUITS AND CLAIMS.
